Hey girl...this semester of school kicked my butt so I had to take some time off from here to put my concentration there...its over though!! How have things been?

I haven't had my second fill yet, when I went back for the what I thought was going to be my second fill he said I had lost enough weight in that month he didn't want to give me another one. So I go back on 8-18-08 and hopefully he will give me a little more. I feel like I am able to eat more than I should. We will see.

Hey Donita~ Glad to hear you are feeling better! Congrats on the weight and inches lost! I am addicted to my scale too. I think it is a mental thing! Sorry it took me so long to respond...I am new to this and forgot how to get to view my messages...lol Take care!

Congrats on getting your surgery! The pain does go away. The hardest part for me was getting all the gas out! It was 2 weeks before that was gone. I had my first fill on june 23, I lost 6 pounds the first week with the fill and not one since. I am scheduled to get the second on july 21, hopefully I will start seeing the numbers fall off the scale again soon. People have noticed the weight loss more since the scale was standing still, so I must be loosing inches, but how many inches can you loose before you start to see the scale move again? I hope you recovery goes well! Just follow your doctors post op diet well and you will do fine! Keep in touch and let me know how you are feeling! BTW~ they told me I could use gas-x and maalox with gas relief to help with the gas, but I didn't notice it helping me.
