I’m terrified of getting dumping syndrome I’m really trying to stay under 15g of sugar at a time what about carbs? Also have you guys ever gotten dumping from fruit?

My pain was doing well until I picked up my puppy. I think I might have pulled a muscle on my left side. It’s sensitive to the touch and hurts now. I’m 1 week 5 days out. I didn’t realize how easy it would be

Out of curiosity why is it we have to wait a certain amount of weeks to work our way back to solids? Why not just go from clear liquids to trying mushed food in small amounts etc?

Same. I can’t take the shakes anymore but I’m good with soups and can’t wait for some fish and softer veggies

One of the good things about this new lifestyle is I’ve really taken more of an interest in cooking. That being said anyone notice any particular culture or cuisine has recipes that works well for the lifestyle change?

Hi guys I’m a few days postop and I’m noticing every time I sip water or a protein drink or have a bite of anything my heart rate starts to get really fast has anyone else experienced this and do they know why?

I’m 1 week post op I’m obviously not taking in a lot of calories I am drinking as much as I can but I had to get IV fluids yesterday. I’m walking about 1 block a day but it’s like 90 degrees. I want to do the right thing but don’t want to dehydrate. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Awesome. I really enjoy Indian and Japanese cuisine. Was thinking of using the cauliflower rice. Wonder how that would sub in sushi

Is anyone having trouble stomaching the bariatric fusion vitamins? They are gross. I feel like post up my taste buds are so sensitive. But I’m a few days out and I can’t bare to chew them. Any advice?
