I had my surgery on the 1st. Everything has been going fine and my doc moved me to purees.
Since I moved to purees its been tough to get more then 2 -3 spoons in without getting this ball in my chest feeling.
Also I don't know if I'm doing to much (bending down, picking things up) but my stomach (inside) just feels off.
Sorry for the rant just wanted to see if anyone else is feeling the same

Yes! I normally run hot but now I have to turn the fan off at night, or raise the ACI just had my VSG 3 days ago. I’m starting to feel colder like I need blankets around me. Anyone else experience this?

I start purees on Thursday. So far I've been sticking with Premier Protein shakes, broth, Water with Gatorade zero powder.Wow, that's awesome! So happy for you![emoji1] How do you feel? Did you start purees yet? What have you typically been eating/drinking?

Same. Mine was like only eat this. It helps, it takes the guessing and anxiety out of the mix. I'm now down 22 lbs

My surgeon allowed 2 cups a day.But I'm a hard core coffee drinker (think like 2 pots a day), so I decided to quit coffee during pre op. It wasn't pleasant lol but I don't want anything to hurt my weight loss.
Since surgery , I definitely feel like I have more energy (could be all the protein), and I've learned that what I enjoyed a lot about coffee was the habit of drinking a warm cup of liquid...so I started subbing with some peppermint/chai/chamomile tea.

During pre op I craved Mexican and so I found a local spot that served tortilla Soup. I would drink the broth and it helped with the craving .Me too!! I want Mexican and seafood so bad!![emoji30][emoji30]

Bone broth has been my lifesaver. Delicious and the warm Water really helps calm the hungerThe liquid shake Meal Replacement is BS. Im hungrary all the time and I almost get shaky. I end up eating like 2 saltine crackers.

Yes. I learned that you have to sip water like a gerbil and it helps with the burningI had gastric sleeve on July 1. Any of you who have had sleeve surgery- did your stomach burn every time you took a sip of Water or Protein Shake? I’m only allowed 2 oz of liquid at a time. I have to get 8 cups of Water a day and 4- 2oz servings of Protein shake a day. I can hold it down but it burns quite a bit

liquids are going down.thw first 1-2 days I could only get one Protein Shake in and some sips of Water. Now I am meeting my daily goal of Protein 60g.
Pro tip: only drink while sitting up. I'd you lay down it will be painful

I just had my surgery on the 1st. I had the same problem swallowing, try putting a bit of Water in your mouth (think teaspoon size), swirl it around and then swallow. It's helped me.
