  1. I am having the same problem and I went to the doctor's and she wouldn't give me a fill she told me to go for a nurtritional counseling. I need her to get preapproved from my insurance. I excercise everyday an hour a day I walk on the tread mill and burn 400 calories a day. I am going crazy trying to figure out what I need to do. I lost 60 pounds and just am stuck.:straight


  2. You must be doing something right you already lost 94 lbs. in a short time. Since the operation I have had trouble with pain in my chest while I eat and then I have to leave and puke :( most of the time I can't eat anything else until the whole meal has come back up. This is the part I don't like but I wouldn't go back. I think my problem is I wait to eat until I am so hungry that I don't chew my food enough and it gets caught so I am trying to eat mushie food until I can get a better handle on my chewing. It seems as I start eating anything even Soup it hurts going down and I don't know what causes that. I will be asking the doctor about most of this at my appointment on Wenesday.


  3. I had an unfill because I had too much at the time. Everything I ate just came back and wouldn't stay down. I will try different things for food and excercise to see if that will work. I am going to start making smoothies in the morning and adding my Protein I haven't been getting and see if that works. Also for excersise I am adding dance classes so I won't be doing the same all the time. I do need to add some weights to the mixture maybe that will help also. Thanks for the advice


  4. I was losing 8 to 10 pounds a month and since my unfill I have only lost maybe 2 pounds if I'm lucky, what am I doing wrong? I haven't eaten any more than the last month and I have been excersing more. I am very depressed and keep thinking I won't lose anymore when I was doing so well. Has this happened to anyone esle? I see the doctor next week and will ask her for a small fill just to see if that will help, I hope it does. I thought I would hit onderland this month but at this time I haven't. Any words of wisdom out there? :cry


  5. I now go to the gym six days a week for one hour. I walk on the thread mill and do the elitical. I have joined a hip hop class and belly dancing for six classes. Then I do weights at home every night. I feel as this is working so far so I will continue at this pace. I look like I have lost a lot of weight but know I still weight 210.


  6. I have been banded six months had acid reflux pryor to being banded. Didn't have any problems after banding, but this past month have had reflux daily. I had a fill and was trying to see if it would open up a little after a few weeks but it hasn't I go back today and will ask for a small unfill. Then I should be back to no reflux I hope.:clap2:


  7. Help!!:help: I can't stop eating cheetos, they are the only thing that doesn't bother me since I had my fill. Everything else makes me sick. I am addicted to the Dunkin Donuts smoothie which are 360 calories. I'm not eating food that is good for me. I was doing so good and now I need to get back to where I was a month ago, I already put a few pounds back on and I don't like it. My chest hurts with anything I eat. Even in the morning I won't have anything but a smoothie and I have problems with that, I don't understand it. Does anymore have some words of wisdom to help me get back on track?

  9. First fill 1cc came home and PB, but I didn't follow the rules about liquid so I learned real fast what not to do. Then did ok pain with food going down. Then went back and got second fill and have been PB ing and vomiting every other day and I followed the liquids for three days then back to liquids for four more days. I am full on just a small bit of food. I wanted them to take some out but they said to hang in there for another week. I have been only putting down 300 to 700 calories a day. Hopefully next week will be better, I'm working on getting more Protein.< /p>


  10. I just had my second fill seven days ago and I am having lots of trouble. I called the doctor twice because I'm eating les than 400 calories a day. I can only eat one meal a day and then drink smoothies (weight watchers). I know it's going to catch up with me. I have been going to the gym still a 45 minute walk while there. So I know I'm burning more calories than putting in. Don't get me wrong I have already lost three pounds since the fill so it makes me happy. I just don't know if I should have some taken out or keep going and see what happens by the end of the week? Need Help!!!:help:


  11. When I had my first fill, it didn't go well. I didn't get the lidocaine at first and she had a hard time finding the port so she kept trying and kept hitting the outside rim. :think She then removed the needle and tried again but it hurt the second time and she had to remove and give me lidocaine then it took her a little more to get the port finally. :clap2: But the second time this past week I had lost another twelve pounds and you can feel the port so it was real easy, Thank god. But after the fill I am having trouble I am getting full real quick with this fill. I have PB almost every day. Just an egg and one slice of toast and I was full. I don't mind because I know it is a good thing. And this morning I only weighted 227.:)


  12. I have told people that have asked, I am proud to be banded and what it has helped me accomplish. It's me that has to understand that it is slow going. And just because you have a bad week or day to not give up and continue pushing yourselve. I am a supervisor in a plant of over 300 people and everyone has seemed to notice that I have lost alot of weight, I tell them I excersize everyday and that is what is helping. I had a cousin call me from out of the blue and she said her nephew who works with me said I was looking like Raquel Welch boy did that feel good.;) I think when people notice it encourages you to continue on the right path. I told her what I had done and she is looking into it. I feel now I want to tell these people who are struggling with their weight that there is help out there. I want everyone to feel good about themselves.:clap2:


  13. I had a week like that just this past week. I couldn't get enough chocalate that's all I wanted. And then went out last night and got drunk which I haven't drank in almost 2 years. But I chalked it up to having a bad week and I'll get over it. Then I weight myself this morning and low and behold I lost another five pounds so I got over the bad week and know it won't happen again none too soon. I go for a fill 4/5 so I will go back to not eating so much and will be back on track.
