    Hey guys,

My surgery date was on April 22 and started pre op diet on the 8th. I'm down 94lbs and couldnt be happier!

I've experienced a stall week here and there, but trust the process! There's pretty much nothing I can't eat (except for large quantities of course) and go to the gym regularly 3-4 times a week to do cardio and weight lifting.

Definitely need to continue working on my Water and Protein intake as I believe I may not be taking enough of either. I was an avid gym goer prior to surgery and despite the fluff, could tell muscle mass came easier prior to surgery (reduced calorie/protein intake) I may start suppleming with Protein Shake again to see if I notice a difference.

I've been taking PatchAid Multivitamin Patches since pretty much the beginning. I've felt great so far and haven't experienced any ill/deficiency feeling/fatigue from it. My first post op isn't until 6months out, so in 2 months or so I'll finally see what my labs come out like.

My next immediate goal is to breach the 100lb weight loss and and to increase water/protein to hopefully see improved gym gains.

Feel free to ask me questions and I'll see if I can help in any way, let's keep going everyone!

Attached are some before and afters and yeah it's the same shirt +-94lbsD412DE24-DD73-4321-8956-5425A772A4FD.thumb.jpeg.563b9c041b42507b13a6569f30c51667.jpeg 0DD9B65E-3A99-4FCF-8AF7-87EC4EC5A110.thumb.jpeg.7e208dc295cbc047a6342999988bdc70.jpeg

    Hey there,

I'm just like you when it comes to having a love of working out. Post surgery, it's never been a problem to do at least 5 workouts a week. Really enjoying Reformer Pilates because it gives me cardio and weight training at the same time yet its low impact on my knees. My goal is to return to tennis but I have to make sure that I've taken enough weight off and don't blow out another knee. I also need to work on the Water and Protein intake. Maybe that is why I am in a stall now. You seem to be doing pretty good. Keep up the great work. Where water is concerned, I noticed that when I add lemon juice and drink without a straw, I consume more than without those two elements.

Take care and congrats on your successful journey so far...

    Trish

  2. Congrats! You look great, btw. I also do Pilates for the loose skin issue as I lose weight. It seems to really help. m So nice to see what 10 mos. post op looks like. My Dr. told me that I probably won't be able to get skin surgery until a year post op. when he estimates that I will reach my goal. My arms are the worst but I really don't think I need to wait a year. Time will tell.

    Take care...

    Hello April Sleevers,

We are getting ready to close out another month. How's everyone doing?

Any great non-scale victories? This weekend, I might try on a few of my older clothes that I had tucked away and do some shopping in my own closet again this weekend. Some clothes that I wore to work recently were looking a bit frumpy. Still trying not to buy clothes. So, will dig around in the closet again this weekend to find some smaller sizes. 😃

Walking was better this week. Water intake got better recently, but then dipped down the past couple days again so increasing my Water intake is a goal this weekend.

    How's everyone doing?

    Have a great weekend everyone!

    Hi there,

It sounds like you are doing pretty good and water is very key to success, I agree. I know what you mean about frumpy clothes. I had a lot of choices but most look dated for today. I will buy new only for a special event and it seems that I don't mind showing a little more skin, too, lol.

I just have to tell everyone about my latest breakthrough. I FINALLY entered ONEDERLAND!!!! I'm now 198.1 I am so happy this stall is over after 26 days! I hovered around 200-202 for the longest time. So don't give up peeps! Getting into the soft foods phase can be challenging but be patient. I can honestly report that upping my intake of water helped a lot and going back to Reformer Pilates classes was a tremendous release of stressing about the stall and challenged my muscles more than ever. Sweating like a pig to do the exercises but having fun. I highly recommend Pilates. it seems to help with the saggy skin issue as well.

I eat 4-5 small meals a day surprisingly, but I know my present problems are my eyes being too big for my stomach and I waste a lot of food. I aim to get that under control. I have even thought about trying a vegetarian prepared food service. I rarely drink Protein Shakes anymore. I have a lot of powder left over. Oh well, as long as my days are filled with water, Protein, fruit, veggies and some dairy, I will continue to keep doing what I'm doing.

    Take care everyone

    Trish
