For me personally, I didnt do anything with my fills when I got pregnant. I am 6 months now, and still have the same restriction as I did before I got pregnant. I will get an unfill when I need it.

No, my doc told me a year...and when I was so close to goal he was happy with my progress and said go for it!

I am always going to keep my band as long as I stay healthy with it! I still have my band filled, and Im 5 months pregnant, but I will get it unfilled if I become too tight. If you have any questions please feel free to ask me anything! Good luck!

I have only been banded for a year. I got banded on 9-18-08. These pics are over the last 6 years that I have gained my weight because of health issues. I have had NO complications, and LOVE my band!!!!!! I figured those risk that "could" happen are not nearly as bad as my health issues I was dealing with. I know my long term health issues were imminent if I didnt lose the weight, so the risk was worth it for me. I was 15 pounds from goal when I got pregnant, so I can't complain. I was and am very happy with the way I look and feel, so I think things are going great for me!

I have had my belly ring for 8 years...so its not new. I have had no problems though. I do work out 4-5 days a week. I have always loved the gym, now my hard work can be seen!
