6 minutes ago, Maisey said:I had a lot of chicken breast. I made sure to bake it so that it was not too dry and then chopped it a bit in the food processor to make sure it was easy to chew. I would season the chicken according to what ever taste was striking my fancy. Italian=Italian seasoning, a few spoons of no-sugar added Pasta Sauce and some mozzerella. Mexican=taco seasoning, cheese and Beans. Chicken=homemade gravy or broth with a tiny bit of instant potato. BBQ=Nashville hot seasoning with no sugar-added Sweet Baby Ray. You get the idea............ It helped me keep my sanity with a variety of tastes, helped get my Protein and incorporate real food.< span>
This is a good idea! Thank you!

I follow this girl on TikTok. She seems to have lots of recipes and/or meal prep ideas. Maybe check it out?
I am at stage 4 , soft-textured, easy to chew foods, I'll check her out thnx!

I am 6 weeks out of surgery and I already ran out of ideas of what to eat.
I had been eating yogurts, cottage cheese, refried Beans, cheese, scrambled eggs, and Protein Shakes. I don't feel like eating this anymore to the point where I just dont eat and will drink Water instead. What else can I eat when I am hungry!?

Question, I am 3 and a half weeks out of surgery and I was wondering how much of my Protein Shake I should be doing at a time? I noticed that the first week or so it would take me all day to drink all 11oz of a shake. Now I think I can almost finish an entire shake in maybe over 30 min. Is this normal? I do not want to stretch my pouch but I do not feel like my stomach gets like overloaded when I drink the shake. Also, do we still need to sip?
too much food?

I am now almost 4 months out and I feel that I am able to eat too much. I can eat two scrambled eggs in a meal. I have also been able to eat an entire sandwich ( with one thin piece of ham, lettuce and tomato) another day. I drink a lot of Water and I still do a Protein Shake almost every day. But its it bad that I can fit alot like two eggs? I have lost a total of 53lbs since the surgery but its been a month that I have not lost anything and I even think I regained 2 pounds. I am so scared for this not to work.
