I'm from Louisiana and think I had Tabasco in my bottle. I never stopped or held back on the the spicy things, and wasn't advised to. I had Tabasco, Frank's Red Hot, cayenne, all in the liquid phase, now on solids and no problem.
My first solid food once allowed was some boiled crawfish!

I second this motion! Always used 4:00 IWB, but now it's time to move to appendix.

Now that I've gone through the surgery and recovery, I can now move on to the other things that I control - weight regain. But I feel, and I'm only a few months post-op, that I have learned enough about this process/journey that I will be able to control weight regain.
The surgical team did their job. The dieticians have provided me the information to get me to where I am, now it is only up to me. The support of this community is another tool available in my toolbox that I intend to utilize.

I hit a long stall after 6 weeks, lasted a month. I changed up my exercise, went from only walking to cycling, rowing machine, elliptical, some running. I also varied my meals and exercise times. Didn't change what I ate, just when. I looked back and was in the same routine, every day, of same supplement or meal, every day. Switched things up and started losing again. I also kept close track of everything I put in my body and every exercise. EVERYTHING - coffee creamer and sweeteners, Protein Shakes, Meal Replacements, Salad Dressing, Water, etc.

I did not have any pain, I never even filled my pain prescription. I had 4 small incisions and a larger one in my belly button. Didn't recall anything unusual but just being very thirsty. I got up and walked a lot post-surgery.

I started out trying to go through insurance, but the hoops I had to jump through were getting more and more ridiculous. So I went cash pay and it was as quickly as finding an open spot on the schedule.
