I like having 4 seats although nobody can fit comfortably in the back and also it gives more room if ever somebody hits you in the rear. There is nothing better than driving a convertible as I just feel so in touch with nature. Thank GOD I am married because it also attracts tons of attention and comments from the men!!!

I drive a CLK 320 Convertible Mercedes to and from work...20 miles round trip. After work and on the weekends I drive my 2000 Lexus. I just love my convertible!!!

Teresita, to my sister in CHRIST, what a wonderful prayer!!! I love this new THREAD and it is absolutely the very best one for me. I will pray each day for my entire LBT family. To all be blessed in the LORD and ask him to direct your path with healthy eating habits.

My surgeon had me to complete a letter with specific topics that he included in his paperwork he submitted for final approval. I can share that letter with you via Private Message. I will pray for you because no matter what...what GOD has for you nobody can't take that from you. GOD sometimes have test and we must take them and pass. This is just a test and you shall prevail. Stay postively focused on the outcome.

I too had surgery on April 4, 2006, with Dr. Barry Greene in Rockville. He is the greatest!!!!

I was banded on April 4, 2006, and I was on pre-op for two weeks and it was very rough. To be quite honest I had to cheat a little because I felt faintish. Though my cheat was a very small portion of Alaskan Crab legs without any butter or cocktail sauce it made me feel much better and removed the jitters. I am not encouraging you to do this but that is my song and dance. As it turned out my surgeon said my liver was so well prepared for the surgery and it went exceptionally well. I'm excited for you, please keep up posted after you have been all banded up.:party:

Congrats Yoda! I was banded April 4, 2006, so we are in the April Bandster's Club together. I was totally the opposite with not being hungry for at least a week. I did not even want to drink the protein but forced it and the water. My recovery was the best as I did not have any gas or other complaints. Each day you will begin to feel better and better. Food is just not a priority to me any more since being banded. Tonight I treated my aunt and her kids to pizza, which is my very favorite and I did not even want any. I thank GOD for this blessing (Lap Procedure) and also for my health ins (UHC, MDIPA) paying for 100% of it. Oh, I did have a $50.00 co-pay for the outpatient service at the hospital. Anyway it is getting late, take care of yourself, walk, walk and drink plenty of water.

PIZZA, PIZZA, PIZZA............I love it like no tomorrow and my kids also love PIZZA........the good thing is we do not order it all the time so that is my saving grace. Actually, LEDOs is my favorite pizza place.

I am just curious if any bandsters ate too much Easter candy but now have a plan of action to overcome and restart the healthy eating. I am not a junk food junkie but for some reason I ate too many M&Ms. Please tell your story and solution to resolve this hurdle. Thanks for sharing, we need to continue to support each other in every way and every day.

My stomach was also very swollen and I am 9 days post op. Though I do feel it strinking. I told my doc at my 1 week follow-up that my port is my new little baby.

Yoda, I definately have the same feelings you have. Only my husband knows that I was banded on April 4, 2006. When I put my leave in at work, I put in for annual leave instead of sick leave and in the comments area of my slip, which is optional I put college visititations since my son is graduating highschool in May 2006. I don't want anyone watchdogging me now or later. Although, I know with GOD I will have much success with my weight lost. I did tell my mother, mother-in-law and aunt since I was home from work for a week that I had a minor procedure done on my back. Since they all know I was in two car accidents that which were not my fault, damaged some of my soft tissue. Keep your business private. I spoke with a bandster friend yesterday and she had a host of supportive friends. As of yesterday she told me they are getting on her nerves by doing things such as begging her to eat unhealthy things...she thought they were her close supportive friends but look how it turned out!:angry

I got banded on April 4, 2006, and I am on the liquids again for two weeks but just think the good part is I don't have type of appetite and that will probably be the same for you guys. Hang in there and keep us posted:clap2:
