  1. I need some advice. I am about 7 weeks post op from revision. My brother passed away last week. I am having a hard time coping. Emotional eating is no longer an option. I would like 1/2 glass of wine. I know that transfer addiction is real to I’m being mindful of my triggers. Any advice would be appreciated.

  2. Today’s makes 3 weeks for surgery for me. I’m miserable. I can’t keep soft foods down at all...vomiting at least 3 times a day. Even Water causes a stomach pain and yes I’m sipping. I went to the ER last week and they found nothing on the CAT scan that was abnormal and they gave me fluids. But it’s still the same pain when drinking. Any advice would be helpful.

  3. I know this may be a sensitive topic but I wanted some feedback if anyone has any. Does anyone smoke weed or consume edibles after Bypass? I know that both have helped me with my anxiety, insomnia and stress especially over the past two years with the loss of my Dad. It’s not a daily habit but I wanted to know if that part of my life is now over? I stopped all that activity about 6 weeks prior to surgery to be safe.

All feedback is welcome and appreciated.

  4. Pain after revision was significantly worse than any of my other previous abdominal surgeries (myomectomy, sleeve, hysterectomy, colostomy reversal). I expected it based on the amount of scar tissue I have but it still shocked me upon waking up. Each day it gets easier. This group has really helped me this week. Any suggestions on how to get all my Protein in since I’m going home soon?!

  5. Congratulations on your weight loss and journey to becoming a healthier YOU! I think you should reevaluate your definition of “friend” because the people you described in your post are anything but that! Keep working towards the person YOU want to be. I attend weekly therapy sessions and we discuss a lot of coping skills so maybe some ongoing therapy with someone who is experienced with bariatric patients will help some. 💕

**sorry I read through the comments and realized everyone has already said similar things about your “friends” and counseling! Hang in there! You got this 💪🏾
