Two days in the hospital. I could have stayed three but I wanted out of there. I had a pain pump but it fell out after 24 hours. -
Having duodenal switch surgery with the best decision I've ever made. I am almost 2 years posted and have lost 238 lb so far. I still have about 60 lb to go but so far so good. I highly recommend the surgery to anyone considering it.

I totally understand this I mean the way I eat is abysmal but I'm not gaining I'm maintaining. If I tried harder I'm sure I could lose a little bit more weight but I think I'm about done. Right now I am at 195 however the doctor said take off 25 lb for skin and his goal wait for me is 145. So if you look at it that way. I only have about 15 or 20 pounds to lose.

Has anyone gained weight post op duodenal switch? I hear it's near impossible and you have to try very hard to gain weight after surgery.
