Wow ok i am also in the pre-op stage and my surgeon has me on 3 Meal Replacement shakes a day (can only use Water or unsweet almond milk with a tablespoon of powdered unsweet almond butter) nothing else for 3 weeks and of course water in-between shakes!! Im freakin out a little here lol

You got this! My surgeon is the same, 3 weeks pre-op of shakes and Water only.
I am just finishing up week 2 and yes, it has been a challenge but it’s so true that it gets easier.

My surgery is on 3/22 i am having vertical sleeve done. i have been on just shakes for 3 days now but have had celery in-between shakes cause i get so hungry. I know im not supposed to. I am 5ft and 288 pounds as of today i have lost 30 so far 🙃 that was the goal he gave me to get approve my surgery. I am also Self-Pay and this past friday was my last weight in and he gave me the green light to have it done and thats when he said i have to do the shakes 3 times a day and nothing else till the day before surgery. Then only Clear Liquids the day before and nothing the day of. I will be in hospital for a day and half because i have factor 5 Leiden (blood clot disorder)
