  1. Hi, 5 months and I have had my gallbladder removed and have been in pain for so long. I have also lost half my weight and hair! It was not explained to me and the protein is terrible to get in. I am so sorry to hear about all your issues to. How long ago did you have it done? I hope you are ok
  2. Hi, pancakes yum. How much protein would them 5 give you? I have 6 tablespoons of Greek yogurt, three eggs and some berries in it every morning. It gives me around 30 grams to start the day. I do not know what else to have that gives you high protein. I do not have protein powder, my surgeon here in Tasmania thinks it is not a good habit to get into. I have not really cooked anything, basically living off yogurt, prawns, tuna, cottage cheese as I feeling sick and heavy in the chest all the time. I had my op in August, second one to remove gallbladder and stretch the bowel a little so I do not get malnourished again 6 weeks ago. Any advice please
  3. Thanks for the input. Does anyone else take their vitamins of a night? Is that an option. Thanks
  4. Hi, I am not sure what you mean by the 4 hour window. The nurses give me my thyroid meds with my vitamin, is that not suppose to happen? When I go home I might start taking mine of a night, what is the preferred time to take after food please?
  5. Congratulations on meeting 12 months

  8. Hi, I have been dealing with hypothyroidism most of my life. I had the bypass done in December 2020. I was 98kilos and now 69. I also have been back to hospital due to gore bladder removal and malnutrition. I am losing weight to fast to quick. I feel sick all the time and find it hard to eat food. I have not started doing exercise, I know I should. I go back to surgeon tomorrow so have a lot of questions. You are doing well, are you on to full solids yet?
