Wow that is a great accomplishment in such a short period, you have certainly worked hard. You look great, I had to look at the pictures twice to make sure it's all the same person.

    Motivation/Exercise

Teresa were you reading my mind? hehehe I was looking for this thread, but when I put in exercise it didnt come up with this because motivation is first? hmmm <bookmarking this one> Someone kick my butt and remind me to exercise daily - take the pain and deal with it lol I started exercising April 2nd and worked up to running last week, but having killer shin splints. I am trying to do this on my own because so I don't have a major problem with surgery May 26. Anyone else have shin splints? if so what do you do about them? Hey Telly, where do you get the sauna suit?

    Secret Inspiration Clothes

Mine is my wedding dress from 7 years ago. I felt like I was in control and in shape then, even if I was 25 lbs over the weight I was supposed to be. It hangs in a bag and is there and I see and say, when I can fit into it and it's loose, then I'll know Im on the right road! My husband wanted this huge wedding, I just wanted a quiet simple thing and say I do, and go on with life. He got his way and we had it on a 20 acre horsefarm that they put in a 5 acre wedding place. This place was gorgeous. When the sun started setting WOW the view you could see across the fields (behind us in the fields) My goal is for it to be too big for our 10 year anniversary. I will have it taken up for our renewal vows! <fingers crossed><SIGH>

    April 2006 Bandits

Amourette, glad youre feeling better. wow youre already in need of a deflate? how can that be if you are only one week out - maybe your band is smaller ? Im not banded yet, so I have NO clue but that's what Ive read in other posts. I think TheBestMe has a great egg drop soup recipe - look that up in the search button - I have also seen a ton of people say that is a great recipe and has gotten through the first after stages of surgery. Or you could find her name and send her a p.m. and ask her if you don't find the link in searching.

    May 2006 Band Crew

Well what I want to lose and what is physically possible isn't the same :heh: lol If I had a choice I would weigh 120 again BUT then I would look sick so Im aiming for 150 - attainable and healthy at 5'7"; haven't even thought about how many inches - now Seminole you gave me something new to think about </P> Having 4 children certainly did a number on my body but that's my excuse I used, oh that and being on bed rest for 6-7 months, and a separated pelvis, Endometrosis, Adenomyosis, kidney problems....list goes on and on... I've lost 29 lbs so far, waiting on my doctor to release me to have the band.

Would like feedback on my new website

Oh btw Plunder, can you tell me how much it is for google adsense and how I find it? I might do it and a link exchange if you want? sometimes my site gets 10,000+ hits a month

Would like feedback on my new website

Plunder sorry to take up so much of your thread - Mod please move it if this is a problem Leenerbups my ebay store or my webstore? Ebay I have had a merchant account for 4 years or so - its anywhere from $15-$200 per month for the store, depending on the one you choose and your needs. The free google words are in the higher ranged merchant stores. My webstore is purchased - I cannot remember how much it is. There are links on it www.affordabledecorandgifts.net I want to say $199 - $300 per year? I have a few other webstores that are rolled into this one and dragged over some merchandise to make it one store The only problem I find with this wholesale company is their customer service leaves alot to be desired. Sometimes orders I place, do not get shipped out or they don't tell me something is out of stock right away, so I end up with an angry customer that I have to placate and refund

    Ban Food Ads?

For me, Im a visual learner, I learn by watching things, people etc. My view may be a bit differen than others, but this is just how I think: How many times have we all heard about teaching our children things, we need to reinforce it over and over and over? hmmm what messages are advertising and billboards etc that we ALL see over and over send us? food is not an addiction for me, Ive never been one to overeat, Im just lazy and made bad food choices lol I think the right advertising is very essential to our society and could help us - think if they totally turned around their advertising avenues what they could do with eating right, exercise, being healthy etc. But hey I don't get paid to sit around write jingles and ads  I think if we see things, hear things and have it thrown in our daily lives over and over and over, that it subconciously affects us? We as adults have the capacity to "make the right and wrong" decisions but children do not. When they reach a certain age, they have an inner "right and wrong" feeling but not enough experience and wisdom to do it. If they watch tv, listen to the radio or even see clothing - they are exposed to all of these ads. So let's just lock em all up and keep em in the dark until they're 30 lol j/k Each and every one of us are accountable for our own actions and consequences those actions bring. Our children need to learn this also - some like my obstinate 19 year old daughter never learned this lesson; even when she had to repeat the consequences over and over -

    Pre-Op liquid diet help

oh wow! that's great news for you, hope this helps you to feel better. Good luck on your surgery
  15. hmm that is very interesting TBM, we might have to pay the outrageous small group plans premiums that we are just to have coverage. Is there any way to find that link? a certain search word or thread name? For a group of 2 healthy people no pre-existing conditions (except weight gain and loss) we pay $700 per month. Through Humana one (individual policy) my husband was paying $98 a month with our daughter on his plan! I won't even go into what I think of the insurance industry lol they certainly aren't out for our benefit. BCBSFL had us go through tons of testing for our son, get different opinions by "the best medical teams in FL" then diagnosed him with Autism at age 2. They sent us a "dear john" letter cancelling his coverage because of the long term care and benefits. We Appealed, talked to Ins Commissioner, appealed again - bottom line: get on the state's care for him. So I can believe they would find a way to deny coverage if you have the band

I do link exchanges as well as the word. Say my business is home decor and gifts - I get 200 free words per month and when someone searches on google for one of the words I put in like Gifts, Home, Decor etc then they get a link with my site on it. Basically, the way I do mine, is opposite of the way you do yours, but this is because it is Ebay linked and that is where I do most of my business.

Please Help Nurse Needed Look at Picts

Last year I had abdominal surgery and they used liquid stitches in 3 areas - do they use staples on everyone like yours Sarah? I just thought of that when I saw your incisions, ouch they look itchy. I don't think I have seen this mentioned, or I didn't pay close enough attention.

Hey Plunder, love your website. I think alot of us have our own sites too. I do link exchanges on mine and my ebay auctions - but I get most of my clicks via google words ads in my ebay user acct - free for certain types of accts you have. Great success so far with your WL, good luck on your donations.

    Question

edit edit : I have a question - can't find the answer in the search and no other post refer to this. Somehow I am sure the answer is here and simple, but I'm just not seeing it. Is there anyway to save your favorite posts? Like I am trying to find my post about my daily diet plan etc but searching through all of my personal posts is a pain. How do you find something if you have say 1000 posts? Do you save them somehow?:help:

    Question

Oh yes <doh> thank you Alexandra - I keep forgetting the checked mark means I posted there. I was wondering if there is an option like your isp has to save in your favorite places. Maybe that's not even an option available on this board makeup?

    Food Journal Thread

Be careful what you wish for, you may get it lol I found on another thread where someone mentioned pork rinds, I found them and love them. I make it my snack daily since they have 0 carbs and are pretty filling. When we go shopping I say gee I wish they made bigger bags of these. Yesterday while shopping at Sam's club my DH walks up to me and with something behind his back - this is what he gave me So I guess this is my snack of the month hehehehe:phanvan Now even the kids like them - wish they were green no one would eat them!
