  1. Well, i am 6 weeks post op on Monday coming, I've noticed old habits are creeping back in and i find myself munching on slider foods, I can't seem to get all my fluids in or don't kniw what i can cook for myself that would be easy. Im eating slider foods such as crisps, chocos, cake and custards etc only because it's easier to grab and easy to eat. I really need to get back into it. 2 weeks and I've stayed the same weight :'(

  2. I was the one who kept a fan blowing even inthe winter months, but since WLS i have been freezing cold, nothing can warm me up, i wear a full fleece pj set, thick socks and gloves to bed with heated blankets and heated fitted sheet with 3 large hot Water bottles. My feet especially hurt the most as they're so cold, it's lack of blood circulation inthe hands and feet that's causing the issue, i do want to go see a doctor soon but covid and all that everything is over the phone so hoping to call soon for a telephone conversation and see what she thinks. It is worrying and makes me panic at times as i just seem so cold all the time and i was NEVER like this. Im 4weeks post op have lost 35 pounds in 4weeks so could be that there's less fat

  3. Hey i am 4weeks post op on Monday, if you can't keep up with Protein don't worry as long you drinking enough fluids ideally with electrolytes as I think that's why you feel weak because of dehydration. Get electrolyte powder and add to ur Water with water flavouring or squash, drink apple juice and any juices you like, have yogurts and make urself some meat/poultry broths and have about 3oz of that at each sitting ideally aim for 5meals aday and you will be okay.

  4. Hi I'm nearly 4weeks out, have you tried mashed potatoes with ketchup or creamcheese? Weigh about 3oz and eat that, even fishcakes but don't eat the batter, have electrolytes power mixed on your drinks as thats what helped me with my energy levels, also have cheese triangles and small pots of yogurts throughout the day and sip on electrolyte drinks.

  5. I was at the bmi 33 before i decided to have this surgery and now i regret it every single day, I'm always hungry but can barely eat or enjoy my meals. It sucks! I just wish i could turn back time and never have had this surgery. It gets easier with time i know as many have said that to me but why do i feel i rushed into it without really thinking.

  7. Hi!
At only 3 week's post op, it's possible that nerves in your digestive system are not fully functional yet, so you don't have the ability to feel fullness or restriction. That may change in time.
Try to stick to the measurements your Team has advised (e.g. 1/8, 1/4 cup over a 30 minute period) to prevent dramatically increasing your intake ahead of schedule.
Over time your portion sizes may increase, but not usually to pre surgery sizes.
    Good Luck [emoji3531]
ThankYou, i have been on purée but find i am able to eat quite abit before i get the full feeling. I will in future measure properly and only eat the amount u should be to avoid causing any damage to myself. Thankyou for that explanation that could be it that the nerves are not fully functional.

  8. I never noticed this before having WLS two years ago, but now no matter what I eat, whether it's spicy or bland or a little or a lot my nose runs constantly while I eat.
When I stop eating the nose stops running.
Now that I think about it, it doesn't seem to happen when I eat cold food, just hot food.< br> And I'm not over-eating and am sticking to proper portion sizes. For instance, I just ate 5 microwaved pieces of pepperoni and my nose ran constantly. I'm done eating now and my nose isn't running anymore.
I searched online and it says allergic rhinitis is a possible culprit. Has anybody else experienced this after having weight loss surgery that they didn't have before?
Why does your nose run Everytime you eat? A person's nose might run after eating if they have allergic Rhinitis

Inflammation and irritation of the mucous membrane of the nose.

caused by a food allergy. A person may experience a runny nose and other symptoms either after eating a particular kind of food or, in some cases, after eating any food. A runny nose may be accompanied by the following symptoms: a stuffy, congested feeling in the nose
Me onthe other hand constantly sneeze whilst eating. I dontknow why but it's so annoying and alittle embarrassing

  9. Hey it's week 3 for me and i was exactly the same, there were times when I regretted ever getting this surgery done, but week 3 and i feel so much better, just sip your fluids throughout the day and make sure it's not just Water as that will lower ur electrolytes in yoir body so drink apple juice, ribena etc too. Ur 3days out so drink broths, lentils, thinned out Soups etc and then from week 2 you can start purée meals. Stop drinking 15mins before meals and then resume sipping 30mins after meals. It gets easier hang in there. :)
