  1. OMG! Has anyone tried these? I am 7-weeks post-op today, and 38 pounds down from highest weight. I have been drinking mostly Premier shakes but saw Shamrock Farms at Publix yesterday, so I grabbed one. Tastes like chocolate milk, best tasting Protein Shake I’ve tried! I noticed the cal, sugar, carb slightly more than Premier (which is okay, just bored with them) but the taste is so much better. Actually look forward to drinking it! I’m only doing one shake day now and getting most calories/protein from food. Anyone else try these? Any comments?

  2. I had my sleeve on 12/7, and I was also thinking about Covid. I decided to go for it since I had been waiting all year, and I figured I’d rather (if I got Covid) fight it at a healthier weight and less co-morbidities than my starting weight. You have valid concerns, and maybe later everyone will be vaccinated. As a side note I received first dose of Covid vaccine on Monday! Whatever you do, take your surgeon’s advice along with others’ advice, and even your gut or intuition and do what’s right for you!!

It’s awesome to see so many people having successful surgeries! I can’t wait for mine! 6 more days!

    How is everyone doing?

I am 9 days (well it’s after midnight, so 10 days now!) post-op and I feel a little better everyday. Walking, drinking, resting. Not losing much yet but I hear that is normal due to all the fluids they pump in you at the hospital. So exciting - a few more days and life will change!!!

I feel like that will be on the 23rd. I go from being super excited to being super anxious. I’m so committed and want this but just scared a bit about the pain after. Congratulations though! I’m glad it’s not been that bad.

Normal feelings. Stay committed and you will be okay!

How are you doing?? How did it go?

I’m doing pretty good, thanks. Pain lessens each day. First couple days I wanted to rest and not move much. Now I feel better, just trying to sip these shakes! Surgery itself was uneventful. I went in early Monday and was discharged Tuesday afternoon. Hospital was awesome!
