So far so good not to much restriction but I'm going again in 3 weeks. I may push it up a little 3 oz isn't holding long. the only thing that helps me are refried beans or Prune Juice I drink a small 4 oz can and that usually helps.

We go around the same time it's weird how each Dr. is. Good for you that you have will power!! Today I started taking in more water I'm carrying a waterbottle around with me so I will drink last week I was lucky if I took in 16 oz a day. i read on an earlier post up top that they are takingin 80oz of water!! WOW I wish i could be that dedicated. I'm working on paying attention to full.... all to well beofre our surgery we ate till we were stuffed or over stuffed... it's darn hard!! Keep up with the good choices!! The TV sucks sometimes with all these food and desserts and the starts the food hunger so I have shut it of and gone to a book or flip the channel to another show!!! LOL... Keep your chin up and keep posting it gives your fingers something to do!!!:frown:

Pat i have a 1occ Band with 4cc in it with not to much restriction I go for another fill on 1/23.

My meadls weigh 3 - 3 1/2 oz no matter what I eat.

I had my surgery on 11/18 and still experience port pain.. Mostly if I have a pair of high waisted jeans it hits the port!! Also since I've been working out I noticed a tugging at my port. My dr. attached to a strong ab muscle and I have to toughen it up a bit before the pain totally goes away. I still can't lean up against the treadmill or sink just yet.:tongue2:

I'm almost positive I do I can eat 4-5 oz at a time and that is not good 3 used to be my max.My surgeon said I have a 15CC band and he only put 4 in and he saw very little restriction! so I'm going to give it this week and then get it pushed up a week or two. I don't want to gain any Weight and I'm scared If I don't fill I'll be sorry!!!

Good Morning Band Family !!! BOY do i need a fill:ohmy: My restriction is fairly limited!! Well I've been back to the gym for 2 days now and it feels great !!! The only thing is I'm having some port pain I find when walking I have to hold my tummy at times while on the treadmill because it pulls??? Weird eh?? I'm waling 3.2 mph and I usually do two miles the incline varies alot because within 30- 40 minutes I burn about 300 -325 calories!!! Does anyone else having any problems exercising?? I wan to hit the weights but I don't dare!!!

Ladies & Gentleman, I feel just like everyone else the GD cookies Cakes, Pies :tongue2: The whole damn thing is overwhelming I myself just had a piece of pie !! What in the heck is the matter with me !!! It's a fact we did it , we ate and it's done...Let's say FRIDAY is the Day and we are hopping back on track!!! Purge those fridge's of the CRAP.. toss the cookies the candies and ask friends and Family to respect your wishes and not bring it in our homes!!! We can do this we just need to find our way back to the path!! Love you all.... be strong..

ddgalarza I had a fill on 12/18 and I had 4 cc put in and there was a little restriction in the beggining but not now... I'm so scared... Dr did say that I have no restriction then to call and get another fill our dates are close. I may wait out this week and then say " Fill me please ":unsure: How much can you eat at a sitting are you getting full at all?

Not to sure on the gas in the back but sine my fill I have been very gassy... as if I drank a can of soda it's awful embarassing at times.:thumbup: As far as a meal goes 20 min is my max !! I tend to do thigns as I eat .. wash a dish take a bite.. clean up somethign or type on the computer and eat!! I tend to post alot around dinner time so I eat slower!!

Everyone is so different I have heard that if you are loosing 1-2 lbs a week your good... I'm stuck at 240 !! which is 20lbs since surgery.. need to hit the gym after Christmas and get this weight off !! Good Luck to you

First fill was tough and then afterwards the port area was tender and difficult to bend. It took it him a few times to find the port. Then for some reason the area swelled up and was very tender to the touch !!! so I put on the heating pad and relaxed for two days!!! Hope the next one is a littlebit easier!! Just trying to figure out the restriction.... At this point and time I feel ok with what I have I just may need a snack inbetween a meal ! I guess I have to watch the scale I think I saw somewhere that we should loose 1-2 lbs a week after a fill??? Not sure if that's true... But I will really put my best food forward and really measure everythign this week and try to control myself with the Holiday coming up. How are things since your fill ??? Any restriction??

Thanks, I'm good at 3oz I do however find that I have to have a littlw something between reakfast and lunch. sometimes the eggs don;t hold so I will have a Atkins advantage bar inbetween it's high in protein 17 grams the calories are 160 ... still freaks me out a little I like to keep snack under 100... but that is my own Narotic thinking!! Thanks again I have a fill in 4 weeks and he said if I need it before than to let him know.

Ginny, I'sm soooo with you Weighing is key .. I cam to realize that there can be no more eyeballing.. I just found a small scale that I can fit in my purse at Wal-Mart and I'm buying a second to keep with me when I'm going some place I need to eyeball or a friend of mine brings a measuring cup...lol.

Hi there I went today and he said everyone reacts diffrent and they may have been my body's way to say " HEY". I have an appt for another 4 weeks for another fill. I'm so confused on how these things work.... How am I supposed to know when I need a fill sooner??? Is it time when I' ready to eat the world?? I just hope 4 weeks is just right!!!:biggrin:

I have a question for those of you who have had your 1st fill..... I just had 4cc put in a 14 cc Band. The Dr. said he didn't see much restriction on the xray but to me I feel something. I can handle 3- 3 1/2 oz at a meal and that is max more than that really makes me sick to my stomach. He asked me 2x if I wanted more and most people don't feel restrictionon their first fill!!! So my question is should I have more put in??? Should I wait till I'm ready to eat everything not nailed down? Is that what it's like to need a fill. I was very fortunate to be ok between my surgery date and last week so I'm not sure what I'm looking for??? Confused:huh2:

Ginny, No problem!! Glad I can help!!! I love it because if you can't find the food you can enter it yourself !! I'm really good about it Monday through Friday.. SAT & Sun are tough so I write it down on a post it note and attact it to the computer.

How AWESOME for you:lol:!!! I mostly wore jeans around a 24 and now I'm down to a comfortable 20!! So Excited.... Can't wait for tomorrow to step on the scale!! I also had a OMG moment when I pulled a high end designer Dress that was an 18W and put it on last night for the party and it was bagging on me !! I was excited and everyone at work was like you "LOOK GREAT" what are you doing?? I said exercising and eating less!!! It was great t watch everyone sit and eat all these pastries for dessert and not want any!!! I LOVE MY BAND!!! Keep up the hardw work fellow bandsters!!!

It was tough for the first few days... this morning seems to be a little bit easier!! I did lots of tretches and put a heating pad on my port area and just relaxed a bit and It is feeling much better. The fill is working wonderfully and I'm hoping the restriction last for a while looks like 3 oz is my max.

Malpractice for sure!!! The tough time will be proving it up. Keep your head and we will have our fingers cfossed in hopes that somethign can be fixed. Keep us updated.

Hi everyone I had my first fill on thursday and boy am I in pain. I can't bend and my side is sore it feels as if I was punched in the stomach!! Is this normal because it was the first time?:tongue_smilie:
