  1. My surgery(sleeve) was 09/30, HW 443, SW 380, CW 303, started losing hair like crazy a couple of weeks ago even taken 10k mcg of biotin daily. My back pain has gotten worse and feel like I have less energy than before. Oh but I do make sure to do my squats, sitting on a pillow doesn’t help much. Haha.

  3. I’ve been using the PatchMD’s multivitamin, calcium w/ D and iron patches since surgery (9/30/20) I’ve only had my iron checked since surgery but it came back normal. I couldn’t handle the taste of the chewable ones.
  4. I had 1/2 of one today, ordered with no sauce , I added sugar free sweet baby rays and instead of the bun I used half of a low carb tortilla. It was wonderful! 180 calories and I think 6 carbs.

  6. I add Italian seasoned ground turkey to the ricotta bake, it tastes exactly like lasagna. My non WLS family loves it.
  7. Plain broth is gross to me, instead I cook a can of chicken noodle soup and just strain it and toss the chicken and noodles out. So good.
  8. My biggest fear was that they would cancel surgery on me. I originally went through the process back in 2011, as they were wheeling me into the OR the anesthesiologist stopped me and canceled the surgery because my WBC was elevated. My fear was finally relived when a different anesthesiologist told me to start counting down. I was finally able to get “sleeved” 3 weeks ago (my WBC is still elevated” Side note* waking post-op helped immensely with the pain.
  9. 2 weeks post-op sleeve, wondering how long to wait til giving a bj? My Dr. said to avoid “sucking” on mints and hard candies, wondering about the other.

  11. Girl RUN! I’m not married but I couldn’t imagine putting that on someone I love. Your risk isn’t going to be “cheating” on him or getting a divorce, it’s going to be him sabotaging your weight-loss while it’s intentional or unintentional. Do what’s best for you.

  13. I was able to have my mother with me until I was taken to surgery (I was in a private room pre-op) after that I was alone until I was wheeled out to them on my discharge.
  14. I guess I barely made it, had surgery on September 30th
