  1. Hello all, I am trying to rejumpstart my weightloss and am going back on the liquid phase for awhile. I was curious, do you have to get 1000 calories a day to lose weight or if you cut it down a day or two do you get better results? Thoughts opinions anyone?
  2. Ladies I am with you. If i'm on my own i'm typically fine but yesterday I went out and had fried onion strings, popcorn, and icecream. I BLEW IT. Today I WILL excersize and get my Water in. GL everyone!
  3. Wow that was a dead on simple guide. Thanks
  4. That is exactly what I do and where I am. I get comfortable, or worse I get comfortable and then start sabatoging myself...Congrats on your progress so far! JMoe the muffin with ff cool whip sounds good. Have you tried getting chocolate grahmn (sp) crackers and cool whip and stick it in the freezer, it makes a great ice cream sandwinch
  5. Glad you're here! Hey I have a question for you. I have stretched my band, and when I spoke to the fill doc about it she said it was nothing to worry about and filled me anyway. Can you offer any insights as to why she might have done this?
  6. Thank you for the encouragement everyone, heaven knows I need it. I think i'll do that Lindsay tomorow though so I start on a Wednesday. Donna, of course i'll wish you good luck and I know you're right, it's time to continue towards my goal. Meow, love the sn! Hope you did well on the fried rice and the water! Hope you did well on your test.
  7. I've been stuck for awhile and have no idea how to break this plateau i've been on. Any ideas?
  8. Summer has hit, i'm sitting at home doing nothing. I want to sit here and eat, but I know its the perfect opportunity to kick up my long stagnate weight loss. So here it is. I WAY overate yesterday and I felt it yesterday (my pouch was already stretched) so i'm going to force myself on liquids and mushies. TODAY I WILL: Drink 5 bottles of water Stay on liquids or mushies NOT weigh myself Do something excersize related for at least 30 min. Here I go: STARTING WEIGHT 173 as of today Anyone want to join me with the accountability thing?
  9. That happened to me quite a bit also...same thing. I ended up stretching my pouch as a result, the doc said that it was over eating (though I could eat more after it happened) and it was still considered a PB.
  10. carefull...you if you PB alot it can cause your pouch to stretch thereby losing restriction. On another note when you lose weight you lose restriciton...both has happened to me.
  11. I am in the exact same boat. The head hunger is killing me. Thinking that I need to eat more or deserve to eat more. It's ridiculous. It's like I fight the fill...must stop I think i'm going to go out and pick up that book that was mentioned. Seems like it has some good stuff. Good luck to everyone! You are all amazing no matter what.
  12. It's nice to know i'm not alone I guess but i'm sorry that others are in the same place. And I have to agree...I was one of the ones who was trying to cheat...oh I don't have to do liquids a full week. Or telling myself I have to eat more in front of my friends or people will be suspicious. I'm paying for it too. I know ultimately if I lose my band it will be because I did not use it like it was intended...I tried to see how much I could fight it without consequences. So far my consequence is that it has stretched...i'm rededicating myself every day to doing the right thing. Following the rules. This is a fantastic place to get support and to get information. Thanks for everyones contributions.

  14. Thanks for the advice... Do I have to get a total unfil for it to go away and revert back to normal size? The fill doc said yes, but I am getting different info here.
  15. If only "not cheating" were that easy for me. If anyone figures out the hang of it please let me know. I mean honestly, I can't help it. I know it comes down to me and my choices, but it's also a whole lot easier to say it and know it and another to do it. I guess my priorities are all screwed up and I am condemning myself to remaining fat. On another note you were absolutely right and it just hit me while re-reading it. One of my biggest deals is sitting what triggers me to eat. Sitting down in front of the TV. I'm going to give it a shot to break that habit starting today. i have a bar with stools and a table and chairs...and someone once told me that they were for sitting at while consuming food. I've gotta get out of the food is my source of pleasure and entertainment...i just haven't quite figured out how.

  17. I am fat because I choose to eat...over eat and not make healthy choices.
  18. I choose to over eat. STILL I choose to over eat. I have no idea what my problem is. I have a feeling it will not be with me very long and I wish I could figure out how to change it. It's real easy to say "i'm going to do better" and another to actually do better. I know I am the only one who can fix this problem. Part of it says that I just don't have the resolve but then I feel miserable afterwards. I don't know what to do...or how to change it. I have no idea how to change my behavior or why I think I try to sabotage myself. I realize that no one can give me the answers I need it's something I have to do...I think I just needed somewhere to put my thoughts. ...Malice...
  19. You know I had no signs, other than me over eating I felt nothing different. Anyone ever actually been through this and came out on top?
  20. The sad thing is that I know it is. I KNOW I over ate and I knew it while I was doing it, I just thought that nothing would happen, either that or was trying to sabotage myself. I'm all about personal responsibility I guess. I do need to call and speak with the Dr. and will take it easy and strive to do my best. Thank you Leatha for your advice and your comforting words though. It's nice to actually talk to someone about this.
  21. Thank you, because honestly i'm terrified and almost in tears. I don't know what to do and I have no idea why she told me not to worry about it and gave me a fill anyway. I know I got it by over eating...it was my own fault. It's easy to say don't do it and alot harder to actually do it. UGH! There is just so much going on right now...I don't need this to. I just got my band in November and I guess I had the "it won't happen to me syndrome. I was an idiot, I ate too much. I am slowly discovering that I have more issues than I realized and it sucks A WHOLE LOT. Just bear in mind that it is not worth it. Don't over eat...don't hurt or sabotage yourself, it can happen...very easily.
  22. Yes nurse practiioner, but she is also head of the fills i believe. She told me that my stomach would not go back unless I had an unfill but I had nothing to worry about...i knew this didn't sound right. Anymore thoughts, anyone have this same experience. Just a bit panicked...
  23. :help: I went in for a fill today and the woman told me that my pouch was stretched...then she told me it was no big deal. I asked if it would go back and she said not without a total unfill...then I would gain. She told me it was not necessary and sent me on my way like everything was ok. I need more information...this can't be as simple as she made it out to be. What did I do to myself (ok I know I overate) but what are the effects? ...Malice...:help:
  24. I have become a very bad bandster. I have taken everything for granted, over eaten and have not appreciated my band. In fact I have flat out abused it. As a result I stopped visiting the sight because I would feel guilty. Well I am here right now to hold myself accountable. I am rededicated. I will be a good bandster. I messed up but i'm jumping back on the boat. signed, ...Malice...
