This is odd because I feel like a lot of people prefer more showy clothes after losing weight but my weird NSV is that I can actually do the baggy look now and not look like it was my only option or I'm a big ball hahaha. I love the Korean Hanbok clothing style (google it) and am so excited to be down more lbs to REALLY rock it! Here's my first Hanbok inspired outfit.

It's not my weirdest non-scale victory, but it might be my proudest.
I took two flights and did not need a seat belt extender. I was also able to use/fit into the airplane lavatory during the flight. It's been 20+ years since I could claim either of these.

Sat down in the laundromat chair today for the first time in ages (Covid meant not loitering inside) and experienced not standing up with the chair stuck to my arse. In fact there was a good five inch space of extra room for... something five inches to sit beside me.
Which means all white plastic chairs are no longer my nemesis. I'm cool with them now. We hang out.

I just got back from getting my yearly mammogram. When they gave me the little gown/vest to put on, they gave me the regular one. I've always had to wait for them to go find an extra big gown before. After so long being bigger than the biggest size most places carry, and the biggest person in every crowd, it was crazy to put that standard sized gown on and have it be really loose. Like, I'm not even close to the top size person who would be able to wear that standard size gown. I'm in the middle! I could wrap it way extra around me! Sometimes blows my mind to be "normal".

Weight loss surgery was one of my best decisions. Can’t wait to hear all about your successes too!

I bought the spiral ring size adjusters from Amazon. Loop around band until the ring fits & snip off the extra. The spirals come in different widths to fit around narrow or wider bands. I have a couple of antique rings that can’t be resized down enough to fit my fingers because of the shank & design of the settings so the size adjusters have been a lifesaver.

I do not know if it counts. I am used to take my blood pressure every morning after taking my pills.
I normally just slide my arm in the sleeve of my monitor without adjusting the Velcro.
Well, yesterday I had to re adjust the sleeve because it was too loose in my arm

I love going to craft shows and I love to buy rings but they never fit me and they'd always have to be sized for me or made specially. I was about a size 9-10. Yesterday I went to a craft show and most of the rings either fit or were on the big side! The ones that fit were about a size 7! The down side of this is now I have to have all of my old rings sized down, but I'm waiting until my weight is stable.

OK, here's a funny one. I need to start off by saying that my husband is supportive, thinks I'm beautiful at 240 pounds when we first met 18 years ago, all the way up to when I weighed almost 400. I've lost 165 so far and naturally have a ton of loose skin. You can also feel a lot of my bones now underneath it all. Anyway, my husband and I were lying in bed and talking about my progress and I was talking about the loose skin, and he said yeah, I have a sack-o-Tricia now! Now I know this may sound like an insult, but he was just saying it was crazy how much I've lost, and I died laughing at "Sack-o-Tricia".
And what I love about it is that he knows that Tricia is the person I am, not the shell I am inside. And I love him for that. He's always loved me for me. So it's sort of a NSV, but also I'm super lucky to have such a supportive husband.
I'm pretty darned proud to be a Sack-o-Tricia now! [emoji1787]

I have been wanting a "Comfy" for a while now since I am cold a lot more than before I lost 200 pounds. I do Aldi pickup a lot and saw they had a knock off for 15 bucks. I ordered it, but when I got it, it was a "junior" for kids. I thought, what the heck, I'll try it on since these things are oversized. And it fits with a lot of room. Lol. Luckily, I'm 5'3" and have t-rex arms, so even the sleeves are long enough for me. [emoji23]

Several months ago when I was heavier I always seemed to have to hike up my pants because most likely my belly was pushing them down and had to constantly adjust. I noticed now that I am down 12 inches on my waist, my belt holds up my properly fitting pants and I am not constantly adjusting, pulling up, tightening, loosening etc.

    New milestone!!!😁
Officially 100 pounds down!! It feels so good to have reached this weight, a year ago I couldn't have even imagined being here again.
I still want to lose at least 20 pounds, and see that the weight loss is definitely slowing down now that I am further out from surgery & getting closer to my goal. It is time for me to make sure I am staying on track with the positive changes and habits & not losing focus.
Wishing everyone well on reaching their own milestones & goals. 🤗🍀

I never let my weight get in the way of doing things I wanted before and it didn't keep me from treating myself, but I sure am enjoying being a size large now instead of a 5x! It's much easier to buy clothes now and I never could get much at a thrift store before, but now I can get so much! I've really been enjoying thrifting a lot.
