Man y’all did a thorough job packing. I went with a cellphone charger, lip balm and cellphone. I stayed for 36ish hours which I slept most of it away.

Phone, charger, and chapstick was pretty much all I needed! You will basically sleep for 18 hours, then it will be time to go home! LOL!!

personally, I'd just bring your phone and a charger. And maybe a pillow to put over your stomach on the ride home. Wear baggy clothes when you go - and you can wear them home, too. Maybe a clean pair of undies. The hospital will have everything you need (hospital gown, non-skid socks - I think mine even gave me a disposal toothbrush and a small tube of toothpaste to use). A lot of us just end up sleeping most of the time we're there.
some people bring Biotin mouth spray - so I did as well - but I don't think I used it. I pretty much just slept....

I had my surgery last Wednesday and I'm elated that I finally did it! I've been researching for over 5 years. I regret not doing this 7 years ago! I had terrible gas pain after I woke up. It only lasted for 20 to 30 min. After that I felt like I did 2 too many crunches for a couple days. Nothing major.
