  3. 6 years. Good. I'm hoping mine lasts.
  4. Don't worry. Most of us have this issue with soft foods. When you get to real food you'll feel the restriction.

  9. I'm becoming more and more comfortable in my skin I can bend over and tie my shoes. My reflection in a mirror isn't shocking in a bad way anymore. Clothes are fitting better and better. Pecker is back. I'm lifting weights again I fit my motorcycle better. I feel pretty damn good.
  10. I was scared of having a heart attack while playing with my grandchildren. Surgery is a breeze, and recovery is temporary. You got this.
  11. It's tough. Almost 4 months out, and I had one too many bites tonight. I measured out 4oz of rotisserie chicken, and put some salsa on it withsome meted cheddar on it. It was great, but I couldn't finish it. I was a bite away from the foamies.
  12. I actually switched surgeons because of that exact situation. They wanted me to go 10 weeks before an appointment with him. Id met with the shrink,and nutritionist twice, and still no surgeon. Wasn't going to work for me. Had an appointment with another surgeon in a few days, and 10 weeks later, I had surgery.
  13. Tim. I had the same issue after surgery. Took over a week to get back to normal. I did not like it at all.
  14. Life is too short not to drink good bourbon my friend. I'm ok with giving up beer for a while, but not whiskey.
  15. Worst two weeks for me were post op liquid. I didn't cheat, but I wanted to. Hang in there. The coming months will be great.
  16. Keep walking. It helps the healing process and with gas. Sounds like you're doing well.
  17. I had a 3 pm surgery. It was cruel and unusual. Lol. You got this.
