  1. Yep. It was bad. Then my plan had me for two more weeks after surgery. My teeth were hurting after a month of liquids. Couldnt wait to chew food again. Hang in there. Before you know it, it will be over. If I did it, you can do it.
  2. The stitches finally dissolved yesterday. I have a physical job and it been rough this week. But yesterday, all of a sudden, no more pulling and ripping. Ahhhh. Now I'm feeling great.
  3. Keep telling them, and ask your surgeon to give you a strong prescription for home. Tell he or she, that you are in severe pain. Don't be scared to tell them. Once you're home, you're home. It will get better pretty quickly. Hang in there.
  4. Its been a long time coming. We finally got our guy.
  5. My Doc used the Davinci. No issues here. Let him worry about the surgery, and you take care of everything they tell you to do. It will be fine. And this is coming from a Bills fan. You guys are going to be a real pain in the ass next year. Lol. Good luck brother!
  6. Stay on them. I did, and I got results.
  7. I'll be using your programs guidelines. Definitely ready for a Christmas Eve cocktail!
  8. Over before you know it!! Good luck
  9. You're going to love it. Good luck and be careful! Ride safe brother
  10. Is much tougher than I imagined. 1/3 cup over 20 min is not easy for me. Lol. Food is cold in 5 min. Just sayin'

There are no words. So sorry.
  12. Yep. Devastating. We go to great lengths to make this work. Deductibles, max out of pocket, work, PTO, etc. I'm very sorry you are having to go through this. I would be livid.
  13. Well the tearing is inside, not outside. At my abdominal muscles. If I get up too fast or attempt to tie my right shoe, its absolutely brutal. I just have to wait it out I guess. Thanks for your suggestion. I certainly appreciate your advice.
  14. The worst of it is getting through all of the surgeons pre op stuff. Important stuff though. If your BMI is over 40 or 35 with weight related issues, you should have no problem.
  15. BCBS Illinois. 3 or 4 days after submitting.
  16. 18 lbs in two weeks is huge!!! Nice
  17. Just tough through it, and look forward to next year. Thats how I handled Thanksgiving. It was tough, AND, I had to carve the turkey. I then returned to my pumpkin pie flavored protein shake. Lol.
  18. Its the stitches on the right side. They're taking forever to dissolve and when I move wrong they rip the flesh. I did it again this morning tying my shoe. Its killing me. Ugh. Other than that I'm good.
  19. Hoping to ride this week. Almost 4 weeks out and am itching to ride.
  20. My plan calls for 4-6 meals per day.
  21. 16th for me as well. Other than ripping a stitch, its been a great recovery. Stitch still hurts but all in all, I feel super fortunate that its gone so well.
