I truly believe this board and all the wonderful people on it are half of the inspiration for our weight.. the lapband is the tool and we are all the inspirations!.. GOOD LUCK and thanks again!.

    Sometimes it's really hard to see your weight loss yourself.. I have to look really hard at my photo's to see the difference.. and with 50 pounds off there has to be a difference!.. just listen to those compliments and keep going!!!.. you can so get down to a size 16 by September.. follow the rules.. and cut out sugar (seriously. I cut out all sugar and carbs on Thursday last week in an attempt to banish my cravings. I am 10 pounds down in four days and I haven't craved ANYTHING!)... GO FOR IT!>

  3. Hey there. Glad to hear from you. The last time I was on this site was AUGUST last year. I have really forgotten all about the rules etc and just live with the band.My food addictions are driving me insane also.. it is VERY hard. I had lost 53 pounds but gained back TWENTY! in the past few months. I just went crazy eating chocolate.. and you have no idea.. I mean 2 pounds at a time... and justifying it to myself.. so crazy!.. anyway.. Last week I decided that I must quit sugar once and for all. I am 18 months banded and haven't lost much more than my first few months.. disgraceful really. I was down to 198 from 251 and have crept back up to 220! So disappointed in myself, milky sugary coffee for breakfast, one for a snack, (easy to drink eh!?).. and then soup for dinner with chocolates for my 'movie/me' time.. I was even eating them in the bath!. I LOVED every moment but realised it is time to STOP.. I have this band and no matter how many times I fail I must get up again.
