I'm 1 yr post o.o. been doing great. Now my weight is stalled. I eat mainly fish. Fresh vegetables and fruit. Water and unsweet tea.

Dr changed me to amlodipine for my BP. Another put me on seroquel for sleep. I limit almost to zero carbs. Pain dr put me on lyrica.

I was down to 170 now up to 100. All I can do is cry. Help?

May I add, that I’ve had a friend recommending and insisting on enema and especially coffee enema.. this friend has never had a bariatric surgery so I’m sure she’s unaware of the exact causes of my problem. I have been hesitant on trying it but a quick google search doesn’t make it sound like a good idea.. but yet if this works I’m ready to give it a go. Anything to ease my problem

I’m 6 years post a mini gastric bypass and still haven’t found a solution to my very very embarrassing problem. I suffer from foul smelling stools that can be runny sometimes. It causes me a great deal of embarrassment and distress.. I can’t use toilets anywhere outside my own toilet in my house.. and no one can use the toilet after me because the smell is very foul and lingers for a very long time.. I also suffer from a lot of smelly farts that usually start around evening time (hardly anything in the morning) ... no matter what I eat or what I eliminate from my diet it doesn’t cause a difference.. Does anyone seem to have a solution for this or managed to understand why? Please don’t tell me it’s my diet because I’ve tried changing it an eliminating so many things and nothing works.

I am 5 1/2 years out from gastric bypass and for the last three months I have been getting air pockets that are very painful. It is hard to burp and it can last for hours. Has anyone else had this?

Tried to have 4 strawberries for Breakfast this morning, but i don't think it agreed with me. Not long after i was vomiting white foam
I felt better about an hour or so later. Maybe it was too soon? I'm almost 3wks out of mini bypass surgery.
Anyone else had this? I'm one of those people who absolutely refuses to throw up and will fight it to the end.

I'm 4wks out of a mini bypass.
I've noticed I'm having trouble sleeping or staying asleep. I wake up about every 2-3hrs [emoji20]
it's not pain related, as I'm pretty much healed now. I'm just very restless.
anyone else had the same thing?

Hello all!

Hoping you can give some advice. I am 5 months post-op from gastric bypass. I regularly meet or exceed my Protein and Water goals (70 ounces Protein and 50 ounces water) and am semi-active, but am still dealing with bad constipation. I was taking Miralax daily and that was helping but I had right side pain constantly and when I stopped the miralax the side pain stopped as well. Welllllll- I definitely should have replaced the miralax with something because I landed in the ER today for fecal compaction. I’ve tried Smooth Move and love it but it gives me stomach cramping when going. Also have tried docusate.

My questions for you are:

1. Has anyone experienced right abdominal/side pain with consistently taking miralax? If so- any way to still take it without the pain?
2. Has anyone found success to help have normal bowel movements with anything other than above?

I meet with my PCP next week but she is so hesitant to do anything for me or offer any advice I want to go to the appointment with a plan of action.

Yes, I have been on many different medications, and nothing seems to work, as "Fatty Livers" are hereditary. I currently take Crestor 20mg and Vascepa 1gm, 2 twice a day.

Anyone else 1 year out or more?
