  2. Thanks for the info. 800-1000 cals a day. Getting all fluids and protein in. I am getting no carbs right now or very few. NUT thought it might be an iron issue
  3. The nutritionist thinks it may be my low iron. I am calling the docs office.
  4. That is awesome. I am losing at about the same clip which is a little slower than expected but I have not started walking, lifting yet. I expect that will jump start everything.
  5. I am taking Bariatric Advantage chewables and not crazy about them
  6. Thanks for sharing. Bricks on the feet is accurate LOL
  7. First is best! Go get some DRY MOUTH SPRAY RIGHT NOW!! You will need it!
  8. So do you like those? They are a heck of a deal. Have you lost 29 lbs since your surgery?
  9. What was your surgery weight? Have you lost 21 lbs in 14 days or was that also pre surgery weight loss?
  10. To me I know I can eat 1/2 to 3/4 cup. It is actually more food than it sounds if eaten right. Like that much Chicken Salad is alot and filling a small Wendys Chili is filling. If I sneeze I am full and need to stop. I can tell when I am approaching full and want to stop before I get there. I have not overeaten yet.
  11. Thanks Cat. You have been on here awhile...is this little or no energy common for a while?
  12. I am mentally ready to start exercising but just gassed right now. My surgeon said I could get back in the gym at 5 weeks which will be this week, I thought 5 weeks would never get here. Now I am not sure how much I will actually be able to do as I have no energy.Getting to the gym several times a week is critical in my mind to be as successful as I can be. Maybe a result of low caloric intake? I am not sure if there is a supplement I am not getting or that I need to add. I am taking B12. I called the dietitian and left a message. Any suggestions??
  13. Leave Coke alone...It is a hard bad habit to quit. You are well on your way so just leave it alone like you are now.
  14. Add Miralax to your morning drink or shake, I also take stool softeners and have been reasonably regular
  15. Tim C replied to RR's topic in Food and Nutrition

  17. I feel like the sleeve gives me my best chance to eat "normally". I hope this keeps working like it is now, I am very happy with the sleeve. I believe having the lapband before has helped. I eat slow and can tell when I am getting full. I don't want to over do it!
  18. Congrats on your weight loss, 28#'s in 4 weeks is incredible. I have lost almost 40 lbs since 1/25 when I got the call about scheduling surgery on 1/25. I have lost 23 lbs since surgery on 2/23. I hve been able to drink fluids pretty much normally since surgery. I too can eat almost a cup of food with out pushing it or getting sick feeling. I am eating about 1000 cals a day.
  19. Thanks...I took alot of vitamins pre op. I think I am going to add some back in.
