  1. I got them on amazon. I just got maple oats and café latte deleivered today. I cant wait to try them tomorrow. They really have a variety so you don't get bored. I also got millies sipping broth for times when I need something savory. Its been a week and I have lost 5 pounds.
  2. So I am using premier shakes. And premier protein water. I am also sipping bone broth. The shakes are good especially the apple cinnamon and oats flavor, my saving grace.
  3. Yes, same. I was required to have my surgery at a center of excellence as well. Though its not called center of excellence anymore. I think my insurance calls it now an institute of quality. Same thing I guess.
  4. oh ok, like I said I read on here, so probably not accurate. That's strange though. When I got my check off list for atena requirements its had 3 month nutritional visits and 6 month nutritional visits and the 3 month was checked off. So I am not sure what constitutes 3 or 6 months then. Very strange.
  5. That's wonderful to know! Gives me hope! My scars are so shameful.
  6. Mine was 3 months with Aetna. I read somewhere on this forum that its 3 months if its a center of excellent and 6 months if its not.
  7. Its sucks but I feel glad I am not alone on this. I hope this is cured for us both, its a living nightmare honestly.
  8. Your a day after me! How exciting! Its so close I can taste it! Hahaha
  9. I am now using the patches and will use them after my surgery as well. As I progress I will most like start taking vitamins by mouth if I can tolerate them.
  10. I have HS. Its an auto immune skin disease that I hope will go away with the weight loss. I get very painful boils/bumps in-between my thighs and buttchecks and sometimes my vaginal area. I pray that this issues goes away.
  11. Doh! I just bought some of the coffee flavored. ahaha
  12. Maybe they meant you FIRST goal. Lol. Then after that you make another goal of 140. Seems suspicious to me though.
  13. Welcome! Well I started my pro op diet about 2 weeks early. Of course I am not a strict as I will be when they real pre op diet starts next week, but I have already lost about 5 pounds.
  14. Right? I just realized that today was the 21st! I officially start my pro op diet in 8 days! This is crazy!!
  15. Such good news to hear. Hope my surgeon says the same thing! Hahaha
  16. Ugh yes. I started mine 2 days ago because I gained back some weight. So im hoping to lose more.
  17. I gained back about 10 pounds too because of my meds I was started on. I'm starting a liquid diet today to help me get the weight off. I hope it works. Could you start your liquid diet early?
  18. Yes!!! A surgery twin! I'm so excited!!!
  19. I was approved Monday. The called me yesterday and set my date for July 14th. The sent my packet in for approval and put a date for surgery for July 20th though. So whatever they put as a date is most likely not your actual date. I was told insurance approves more of there is a date.
  20. This happened to my mom. She was basically starving to death. Her sleeve was too small. Her surgeon had to go in several times to put a balloon in her sleeve and blow it up a bit to stretch it. It was would for a few weeks and then the same problems would arise. So she went to a different surgeon and he had to give her a bypass. She had now gained back and maintained a healthy weight.
