Where are you thinking of having this surgery.? What kind of surgery

My original date was in March.. Knowing that I was being rescheduled. I gained so much weight . being locked down with covid and eating. I gained 40 pounds since March...my diet for surgery starts Sunday..ugh!

May 26th. Mexico.

This monday?Gastric sleeve may 26th... Starting the preop diet..why am I hungry before even starting the diet. Ugh.!

Im paying 4200. For a complete work up. Blood work , ekg, leak test . 2 nites hospital. 2 nights hotel with 1 year nutritionest for gastric sleeve. Pain meds , antibiotics.. With pretty reputable surgions. Here an amarica they want to charge an arm and leg. With the rediculouse waiting and head games..

My date got moved from april 2 to March 26. It's getting very real!!! No preop diet as of yet, since my b.m.i I sent that high. Would you suggest to do a liquid diet on my own ?

I was fortunate enough, that they had a cancellation. Now im scheduled for March 26. Instead of april 2nd! I would defiantly call your surgeon and see if they have had any cancellations.

I will be having gastric sleeve April 2nd at oasis of hope with Dr gonzalas .. Any one know the difference between united states and mexico pre diet? Any one having surgery at oasis of hope in April?

The boarder of mexico and united states is not closed.. Back in February they were concsidering.. The United States US has banned the entry of all foreign nationals who have travelled to China, Iran, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK or Ireland 14 days before their arrival. US citizens or permanent residents who have visited a high-risk area must fly into one of the 13 international airports with enhanced entry screening capabilities.

More we walk, more gas we pass . In which I hear is pretty painfull, don't forget your gas x strips!

Im having my gastric sleeve April 2nd. I am from michigan flying to mexico..im worried about blood clots on way home.. Should I wear compression socks on way home?

No im waiting for them to send me the diet.. She said they will send me one sometime this week.. I would like to be prepared and not wait for last minute.

I will arrive in mexico on april 1st . surgery the 2nd. leave on the 4th.. Counting down. My only concern . Getting enough liquids after surgery...
