I've been pushed up to 5/15...no one can come in with me though...only drop off and pick up. Nerves are in overdrive.

My surgery is actually at a private Surgery Center so it is technically outpatient at a 23 hour facility here in Delaware. My doctor is affiliated with the major hospitals here as well.

I was scheduled on Friday for 5/15. I was okay with going through with it until they said I can only have my husband drop me off and pick me up. Now...I'm on the fence.

Initially I was 4/9 then rescheduled to 5/21...but who knows now.

Just checking to see if you've heard anything lately about your surgery?I live in Delaware. I was so close just had to be scheduled for picking up my Optifast and scheduling my surgery. But now things have been postponed. This makes me so sad .
My husband said he heard this virus came to be by someone eating a bat in China and that is how he got sick.
Hopefully we can all get back to our appointments as soon as possible!

So I get a call from my Patient Coordinator stating that because I was so easy to work with (wonder what that means...lol) my name was being added to the new surgery schedule first and if 5/21 would work for me? Sure. I am just going to go into this with an open mind and hardened heart (for my feelings). So...5/21 it is!

Welp...just had my Telemedicine appt with my surgeon. It's been canceled. I'm REALLY ok with it. Better safe than sorry and/or DEAD. He assured me that I was at the top of the list when they start rescheduling....but that's about it!I'm in delaware...schedule and approved for 4/9. My surgery will be at a surgery center. I received a call today from the nurse going over my medical history. I asked of the likeliness that I would be rescheduled (which why I thought she was calling) and she said everything still looks good for 4/9. My state has a stay at home order effective tomorrow.

Yesssssss.....but if it changes...I'm okay with that. Just want to be safe with the least possible chance of exposure to ANYTHING not just this darn virus. Thanks!I hope it works out well for you and luck stays on your side. We have been at stay at home for five days now and stuff changes real fast. Good luck[emoji256]

I asked of the likeliness that I would be rescheduled (which why I thought she was calling) and she said everything still looks good for 4/9. My state has a stay at home order effective tomorrow.
