  1. Does your doctor have you taking Vitamins with Iron? That can certainly turn your poop dark. If it IS blood, as long as you are asymptomatic for blood loss (rapid heart rate, low BP, dizzy or fainting) you should be able to wait until your doctor is open again. However, if you ARE showing these symptoms, you should go to the ER asap.
ps I am not a doctor, but I play one on TV (remember that old Vicks cough Syrup commercial?)

No I don't have any of those symptoms.

  2. Hiiiii Surgery Date Buddy! [emoji112][emoji112]
Nervous here, too. We are gonna rock it though. [emoji123] I hope you can post when you are able to. Let us know how you're doing!
How was ur surgery? My 1st night was rough but it's much better now. I'm having bad gas pains and Constipation. But I'll be going home today. I've been up and walking but that doesn't seem to help me with the pain.

  3. So tomorrow is the big day. Bright and early.
The pre-surgery drinks are likely more terrible than the surgery itself. Just a hunch. I just had to swallow two of them within 10 minutes. 🤢 I also spent 10 minutes taking before photos because I couldn't decide if I should pose without clothing (yes, seriously). I have literally gone between nervous and excited like 25307372 times.
Pumped. Ready. LETS DO THIS. [emoji123]

How was ur surgery? I had RNY on 2/25/2020. It went well. Most of my pain was that whole day n night afterwards. Now I'm struggling to get fluids in and also trying to get Gas out!

  4. I had RNY 2 days ago. That 1st night after surgery was awful but it's getting better now. I've been walking around but the gas pains are still here. I feel more comfortable sitting up in recliner than laying down. I'm also having a hard time getting my fluids in. I'm really gonna push it today bcuz I don't want to have to stay I'm here any longer. Any 2/25/20 surgery twins?

  5. @thick_thighs73 were u mostly waiting on getting in for your other appointments then or was there a wait for him?
I'm so sorry. I didn't realize U replied. I need to see if there are notifications for this app. Yes most of the waiting for me was being able to get appts with The other Doctors.

I'm soooo nervous. My surgery is on Tuesday. I need to stày off some of the FB groups bcuz some of the horrible complication stories are making me 2nd guess my decision.

  6. Hi! I’m new to this app and I’ve just started getting my ducks in a row. I’ve turned in my 6 month diet form to my insurance, UHC, (my dr backdated as she knew I’ve been dieting forever now haha. I have my physc evaluation this Wednesday and my surgeon consultation with dr. Cahill on March 18th. I’m wondering if anyone has had experience with him? I’m so anxious to find out how long the wait will be after our first consultation.

Please forgive any typos.. this is black on black for me so I’m typing blindly [emoji28]
Hello! Dr. Cahill is my surgeon and my insurance didn't have a 6 month waiting period. But it took me about 6 months to get my surgery date because I had to get in for the Cardiologist and Psych evals, etc. My Surgery date is Feb. 25, 2020 and I'm very nervous. I live a. Hour away from Dyer but I chose Cahill bcuz he's very experienced and I have family that he did WLS on.
