  1. So far in my journey this is what I have done and has seemed to work. I drink 2-3 Protein Shakes a day or eat once or twice adjusting Protein shakes. I keep moving as much as possible doing anything. I utilize our treadmill and do yard work. I do some walks here and there too. Sometimes I lift weights high reps low weight. No cheese, rice, potatoes, pasta or anything if goes in my mouth either grilled chicken fish maybe piece of steak and either piece of apple or some vegetable. Every thing seems to get hot sauce or vinegar with pepper. Now always have cravings for pickles plus eat almonds and shelled walnuts if want snack. Besides the beer I drank I’ll drink only abit of black coffee Protein Shake or Water.

Everyone keep up the work stay on course I feel the head hunger wanting the junk food Both my wife and son are skinny and eat everything pizza chips ect

if I can take it you guys can too. It is a good feeling when no one recognizes you. Good luck WE ALL WIN!

Wow! You're only a month ahead of me. That’s a great number. I’m only down about 40, and almost all came off my legs, which were thin to begin with. But the key word is “down”. I had a gastric sleeve procedure. It has worked wonders for my cravings, and binging. I no longer have the desire to do any of this. I can only hope that it stays that way. I’m 71, now, and hope to have some good, healthy years ahead. The pound up and down is daunting. I try not to let it get to me. I know I’m doing what I’m supposed to. Rome wasn’t built in a day! It took four years for me to put this lard on, after I broke my leg rather badly, so I’ll just have to be a bit more patient. Continue the good work! We’re worth it!

You also keep up the great work.we are worth it!

  3. I’m almost 90 days since surgery five days away. Weight loss has been going with a few stalls here and there. Been outside doing something weather permitting and using the treadmill when rains or lifting high reps low weight. I’m only doing about 480 to 600 calories a day. I really like the Protein Shakes That’s mainly what I consume daily as not very hungry. Maybe I will have one meal and 2 shakes a day or 3 shakes and a snack, carrots or almonds in a day.Always make Protein and Water I sweat through all of my clothing everyday make sure I have t shirt and sweatshirt on.
One of my big goals is to be 250 or lighter by Mid June for my son’s graduation.

Everyone keep working stay focused and safe! We will all succeed

Yes, I'm supposed to drink 32 oz of regular gatorade before I go to bed the night before surgery.

I did as directed nothing after midnight. My surgery was at 1:30pm. I was stuck 3 times with that big needle. On the 4th try where I first said to stick me at worked. I still have 1 massive bruise on my hand and 3 others.

    How was your recovery?

So far so good, sometimes (like now) I will have pain on my front right side, I have gotten tired out of the blue a few times, and getting up too fast I have become dizzy.

all and all I’m excited about the future now. I’ve been walking a few times a day seem to help but my wife keeps saying to take it a bit easy still

pain on the right side is something I remember. I went bowling the day after my surgery (kind of dumb) and pulled something.

you really need to take it easy for a while after surgery, think about how few calories you are eating.

    dont get up to quick.

Has your weight loss been steady?

    I am down 26pounds since surgery 😀
