Eating everything in sight?? I am so determined to FOLLOW THE BOOK that I am eating all of the stuff I won't eat again for a loooooong time! Ice cream, candy, I'm on my way to make no bake cookies....all the favorites!! Did I mention french fries, breads, etc......:ohmy:

It's my five kiddos! They are climbers, jumpers, etc....they so remind me of the 5 monkeys jumping on the bed!!:thumbup:

I just think that everyone should have a chance for some imput. Especially since we are starting to get more people to join the board. If it was sept. I'd say, of course I'll go with what the group has already choses. but since it is july, I think anyone who wants to suggest a name should. Can we set a date for suggestions and then set up a pole? It can end say, Aug. 1, and whatever has the most votes wins? What does everyone think??

I would have been unhappy, too. My dr. does surgerys 3 days a week and does consults the other to. I didn't wait at all. Hope you find someone soon.

my dr. office says liquids and below 800 calories. So it doesn't just have to be shakes (at least in my dr.office)

My band date is the 5th too!! I start the pre-op diet on the 22nd. Maybe we can grump through that together!!!! I am so excited!!

I am already seeing a counselor to deal with WHY I eat. Not just what I eat or how much. I know that my stress eating and habit eating is not going to go away b/c of the band. It is going to need to be a total lifestyle change. Not just a food issue....

My nurse has been banded and had a baby after banding!! -
I am in the same spot and my consultation in on Monday. My BMI is about 36-37 but I do have comorbidities including high high cholesterol and depression. I am self pay so I am hoping that goes in my favor too!
