I have my band since 2009. The last fill is the magic one down 27 pounds. It seem the tighter the band the better. No sure what I will do when I reach goal but now I see it is still possible .

I just had my lap band filled 2 weeks ago from Dr Kluftinger , he is a very nice doctor. He spend some time with me and talked about the lap band and nutrition. I am happy that I have a Doctor that is closer than Vancouver . I live in Castlegar BC and it is still a four hours drive but that is better than eight hours . It is good to have support that is more local. I was banded in Toronto . Cheers Carrie

Thanks everyone. I called the Doc and they said try reflux medication. Lets hope it helps.

I was banded April 17 2009 and it all went well. Then about 6 day after surgery I started coughing I thought it was a cold but it been almost 2 weeks ? Any ideas or fixes. I am not sleeping at night very well.

I was banded yesterday and only was sick once so far, its not good feeling . I am doing so much better after the drugs are gone. Hope you feel better :tt1:

Hello I was banded yesterday to,still in some pain but I have to tell you that the pain hurt more from the thing they stuck down my throat. I am happy it is done.I was a bit scared. Now I am really for my new life

Good day I will be banded on April 17,09 in Ontario and I can tell you I an happy and scared and hungry:rolleyes: as I am on the per op diet. It is day 2 of per-op and I am hungry ,they never send me the meditrim information and I am drinking a shake lower protein. I am hope to get some meditrim soon and I hope it will help the hungry I think of this stage, as "time is ticking for a new life". :welldoneclap:
