I think that since it’s now March, we should make a February 2020 post op thread.

Okay,will have my surgery tomorrow. So today I am on Clear Liquids. Vodka and Wine or clear liquids right?Just kidding.Seriously the 2 week liquid diet has not been that bad.Seems like the Protein digest slowly and keeps me pretty full. And I have dropped 12 lb. Definitely am tired of the commercial Protein Shakes. So I've been primarily making my own smoothies And adding different flavors.So all of you that are having surgery tomorrow with me, are you ready?

I’m here in the hospital in pre-op just waiting for them to come take me to surgery. I’m all ready to go. I have excited nervousness going on. I’m not scared at all. I’ll post as I’m able!

I’d also suggest not looking at a scale. I did today, and I weigh 12lbs more than when I went in for surgery. I know it’s all bloating, etc, but it does suck to see a higher than pre-surgery number, especially when you’ve taken in fewer than 400 calls over 4 days.

Hi everyone. I’ve been lurking on this forum for a couple of months and figured better late than never to actually join and post. I’m getting sleeved tomorrow!
Im so tired right now after the week of liquid diet but can’t go to sleep until I chug 2 bottles of “ensure pre surgery” at midnight. 😖
thanks to all the February people that have posted. Makes me feel so much less alone!

I’m so angry just recd a call saying my surgery was denied doe Feb 4th because I had a 2lb weight gain at my December visit I’m sobbing right now office says we can try to start all over again for a may date but I’m done I give up and can go through all this planning again

Had my surgery first full day home today feeling a little sore and trying to up my Water intake but happy to be on the other side of this

It all depends on you Stay on a very low calorie diet - Move and walk, Follow the rules and it will flow off you. As you can see by my stats i flowed off me, This is a mind game also so get your mind and body in control and enjoy the journey, Being healthy is a great feeling
I would say the expect 15 pounds a month as a average for a female but the harder you work at it the better you will be off

stay off the scale the first week. They pump you full of fluids in the hospital, and many of us come home from the hospital heavier than when we went in - but it's all just fluids. They should work their way out of your system in a few days. If you step on the scale a week after coming from home the hospital, you should start seeing a loss.

My surgery was on then off now on again for Feb 4th
I find my night cravings to be the worst too my preop diet is shakes Water tuna oatmeal and broths I’ve only been doing the pre op diet for 5 days and I’m about 6 lbs down

Just got my surgery date... February 3rd. I'm excited/ nervous!!

Checking in with this group I’m getting gastric sleeve surgery and it’s scheduled for February 4th
