You need to join a support group where you have ppl to talk to. Posting this is the first step in right direction. You want to change your life for the better. I don't know much about puch reset it might be very difficult to do, not sure if it actually works. I just started logging everything I eat and set a caloric goal for myself. I will see how I do and than adjust accordingly. The main thing is not to give up!! We've all made bad decisions in our past, don't let those decisions ruin all that you still have left!! Whenever I would feel low, I would grab some junk food. Now i good work out can really lift my spirits. You can do this, I have faith in you!! Mmm all of these sound delish [emoji39] too difficult to choose my favorite lol usually I get whatever looks good at the grocery store. I also like adding fresh hot peppers to salads and meats. I guess I'm lucky I can still eat them! The only thing I cant tolerate since surgery is carbonated beverages, it gives me severe pains and I throw it up. I hate plain water, so really had to work hard to get used to other drinks. Now I add lemon juice, cayenne pepper (lol another favorite spice), and some sweetner to water. I can only drink if it's very cold or hot ( not room temp) Sent from my SM-G950U1 using BariatricPal mobile app

    Calories and macronutrients

I haven't tracked for a long time [emoji45] starting to track today. I'm going to see how the week goes and than adjust. Hope I can see my nutritionist soon it's a 45 min travel by train! And with my work schedule it's really difficult to find time. When I used to track I was at 1400 cals a day no clue where I'm at now. Been making a lot of bad choices. Hoping to get back on track. About activity level also varies greatly I'm a daycare provider, so do have some moments where I definitely get in a workout running after the kids [emoji6] I try to go to gym as much as possible (at least 1 a week) Sent from my SM-G950U1 using BariatricPal mobile app

  20. I'm in same position as you less than 2.5 years out with 20 lbs regain. I'm going to really try to ditch the snacking and go back to basics, eating proteins first. Please keep me posted on what happens. We can do this!!! A little motivation, along with some small changes can put us back on track. The main thing is to stay focused and not get discouraged. I'm starting tomorrow, wish me luck! Looking forward to see the scale moving in the downward direction. Best of luck, Chaya Sent from my SM-G950U1 using BariatricPal mobile app

    6 months

It happens to all of us. I used to see that ppl lost a lot more than me, and would get me down, especially if I hit a stall. Weight loss rate depends on a lot of things including your starting weight. For example if someone started out having to lose 250 lbs they will lose faster than someone who only needs to lose 100. Don't get discouraged. Look at the progress you've made so far, a loss of 50 lbs is amazing. Just keep doing what you're supposed to and the weight will come off!! GOOD LUCK [emoji2] Sent from my SM-G950U1 using BariatricPal mobile app

    Regain

Hi everyone, I'm new here and would love any tips or advice. I had the gastric sleeve done in August of 2017. At first I did great, but after 18 months i stopped losing my BMI never even got to overweight status. Now I'm struggling with regain, and I'm finding myself back on yo yo dieting. I lost 110 lbs and I regained 20 lbs already. It's really upsetting, I don't want to go back to a BMI of 52. If anyone ever dealt with this please tell me what worked for you. Regain

Thanks for the advice I will definitely make another appointment with my surgeon. As far as my eating habits are concerned I have been slacking. I find it really difficult to eat right. I'm a picky eater, and if I'm ever in a rush and have to grab something I usually just grab a bag of chips. Those calories really add up!!! Any tips for picky eaters ? I hate feeling like I'm on a diet again and just want to be "normal". Also which app is the best for food diary ? The fact that other people care and answer has motivated me to get back on track. Like all of you have said taking action now at 20 lbs regain is definitely better than letting my weight spiral up. Sent from my SM-G950U1 using BariatricPal mobile app
