  1. Just wanted to know when did everyone surgeon say it was okay for you to work out? I kind of really want to avoid the extra skin from hanging and get my tone on lol
  2. I have lost a total on 45 pounds in a month and a week. Everyone can see a difference in my body and face but when I look in the mirror I see no change at all. I still think the clothes fit me the same and nothing is changing with my stomach. Anyone going through it? I hear most wls patients go through it, I might end up seeing a therapist for it honestly.

    Nope I have always worn bigger clothes that were two three sizes up and @AJ Tylo is right the head games is terrible even if I take pictures it’s sad that I can see it a bit but still think wow she’s not losing anything and is still really huge.
  4. So because of all the allergies I have with dairy I can’t have the premier shakes which I can tell everyone loves and these other ones are absolutely disgusting! I just wanted to know if anyone has tried this one I’m attaching in this topic. btw I have tried isopure nope the whey protein cause me to bloat and serious pain. I tried the Vega and the Chalky taste was unbearable and even this brown rice and pea flavorless one. Please I’m literally out of opinions and I don’t want to force myself because I will throw it all up which I have done before.

    I love eggs I’m going to have to check out the egg protein on amazon. Is it something you mix in with food right? I don’t want to be that kind of person and like mess it up and ruin the whole thing.

    Yes it was a japanese recipe that has a bit of soy sauce and ketchup that most definitely messed me up
  8. I literally just had acid reflux for the last two days I’m drinking almond milk because it says online that is very good for it. What do you guys do as a home remedy for It?

    My doctor did for the first 30 days Give me omeprazole and it was working fine. I went to call him about it but no call back yet. I think it was I had pasta sauce with my meat balls and it just didn’t go well

    I had a friend who had a fried chicken wing 4 days after surgery that was mental!!! He had to go through the whole process to check for leaks in the staple line... I can definitely say that at 4 days I didn’t even want liquids in my mouth but yes the rules are godly.
  11. Literally like I miss broccoli and salads and basically all my green veg and regular veg!! When were you guys able to take in the greens? Also which is your fave now after weightlifting loss surgery

    Yes your eating to quickly but it’s okay try soft meats first like Chicken steamed or in broth, avocado with some hummus, turkey and chicken soft cold cuts. My doctor told me to stay far away from beef for a few months but I did have turkey meat balls and they were so good in broth. Don’t have anything grilled dries it out and that’s probably why it wouldn’t pass and gave you that feeling. Take it slow my friend I know it’s exciting and tempting but be careful and mindful of your stomach.

    No you read it right but again everyone’s meal plan and post op is different again not the huge Italian meatballs we serve on sundays it’s the tiny ones with the brand I said on top.

So for my 5 weeks and up let’s share one or as many of your meals. breakfast: I’m trying eggs with avocado and a bit of spinach lunch: turkey and cheese wrap with a bit of hummus spread my dinner I’m still on the fence about it if I have room but I’ll do 2/3 meatballs and a side of carrots or diced chicken and carrots. Of course I’m between 3-4 ounces for my plan. Now lunch and dinner I pick one or the other and my a plain eater Or sometimes in this phase I do really eat as much but when I can I these are my go too. What’s yours??

    No as I said the brand amoura has these tiny meatballs not the huge Italian ones you must be thinking of which is 1.7-2 ounce for 2-3. Again not that huge of a meatball

    it’s fine after 3-4 weeks post op you can be on top to control the weight places on you and if your doing another position on all fours I tend to place a very soft small pillow to avoid pressure or rubbing. Just be safe, enjoy and no babies!!

    3-5 small meals a day as recommended by my nutritionist 1-2 ounces egg medium is about 1 ounce shoprite brand avocado is about 1 ounce spinach when cooked I have about .5 maybe not at all if I am full with the others Oscar Mayer’s chicken or turkey cold cut 1 slices is about an ounce on the dot and I have about two with the spread of hummus super minimal about about 0.2-0.3 close to 2.2 ounces their anddddd if I am feeling dinner like I said 3 meat balls the amoura brand comes up to about 1.8-1.9 ounces with the carrots maybe about 3 ounces max the other alternative to dinner is the can chicken by bumble bee or the off brand 5 ounce per can with water without 4 ounces might do a teaspoon of mayo about .3 ounces totaling about for half that can 2.3 ounces of food and mayyyybeeee the carrots I follow everything to the T have lost 35 pound in my first month and now at 5 my scales I make sure it is working and I don’t go over my body’s intake handle sorry if I wasn’t super specific in the beginning I like to just type it out and go now I have explained it in detail hope that helps the confusion edit if I’m feeling snacky she said crackers are okay 2 ritz no salt they get soft no problems so far

    Ohh no breads my doctor and nutritionist told me she said just like The cold cut and cheese w with the hummus spread and rolled up. Gonna try the chicken tmw hopefully it’s good 😋

    I’m 4 weeks out and I also find it incredibly hard to get my proteins liquid in But Ice pops ice pops ice pops!! You know the sugar free red, white and blue rocket ones they are amazing and one pop is about 1.5 ounces and don’t cause pain or the full feeling. 4 days out it’s fine not to reach the goal but really try everyday to get more and more in. Around a week you should be able to get atleast 40 ounces in a day and it’s something better then nothing.

    Yes I couldn’t handle water until 3 weeks out. Gatorade zero Cold was a god send and it’s just the swelling in your stomach that hasn’t subsided. But try the drink and Aleve my doctor said that’s what we can use for the pain. But don’t sip try to let the smallest of the sip like if your not drinking anything and wetting your mouth that worked too.

    Runners stitch?

    I had the same situation with one of my stitching area on the right side. My surgeon said it was that I just pulled a little bit of scar tissue that was healing underneath and that I should take it easy on the walking and lifting. Honestly shouldn’t be a big deal unless you are super active with the walking every day or ripped the cut open since you need time to heal. Take it easy and yes mention it to the doctor on your follow up.
  25. So the air fryer in your opinion, a lot of people that I know who got it done said it’s amazing especially my nutritionist for if I crave any fast food in the future it will be an excellent go to. Do you guys use it or not?
