  1. Hi guys, I got my sleeve surgery in November of 2019, I took two pregnancy tests today (8/4/21) and I’m 99% sure I’m pregnant. Haven’t verified with the doctors and it would be my first baby.
I’m nervous as far as how much food I’m able to eat, I can obviously eat a bit more but still not a lot. I’m worried as far as what Vitamins I should take to be sure I have a healthy pregnancy and keep this baby strong. Any advice would be amazing, thank you.

  2. I was sleeved 11/18/19, 2 weeks after surgery I was totally fine but now I’m nauseas, dizzy, can’t eat for almost 3 weeks. I explained this to my surgeon but he just says to drink Water. I am in bed most of the time I’m awake, I have zero energy, my eyes are constantly dizzy and I’m worried. I went to the ER & they said it was a UTI. I can’t keep anything down and honestly feel like my body is shutting down. Idk who to talk to or what to do :’( I’m starting to think it’s my gallbladder but I am not to sure.
    Anybody have advice ?

I always liked Premier Protein since I had my sleeve done back in early 2018. I tried to drink it afterrevision and not only does it taste nasty, I can’t keep it down.

I am strictly using Syntrax Nectar mixed with fairlife milk now. chocolate Truffle tastes just like chocolate milk with zero Protein taste.

May the least go to the grocery store and get the fairlife milk to drink. It has 13 grams per 8 ounces. If you can get 4-5 cups per day in you can hit your Protein goals. You could get Hershey’s Sugar Free Chocolate Syrup and make chocomilk if you like.

there are also several different clear protein drinks that may settle better with you. Protein 20 and premier makes some as well. Do your best to get the protein in as that is extremely important for healing.

Thank you so much. I’ll definitely give that a try.

  4. I am a month post opp and I barely want to eat. I’ll have a couple bites of fruit in the morning and that keeps me full all day. I know this isn’t healthy and I have my appointment with my surgeon in a couple of days, but I thought I’d get opinions or help from people who have also had the VSG. Sometimes the smell of food just makes me sick. The weird thing is that my body wants to throw up, but nothing comes out. My girlfriend has to force me to take a couple bites of food but I just hate eating now :( any advice ?

  5. So before surgery I was able to brush my tongue no problem at all, now post surgery.. as soon as something touches my tongue I almost vomit. Even thinking about it makes me nauseas. I wake up like 6 times a night because my mouth is so dry. I hate it, I feel so unclean. Has anybody else experienced this ?

  6. Hello, I have a question. I am a couple days over a week post op ,and in my stomach I really have no pain and feel fine. However, whenever I stand up or walk, I get this pressure on both shoulders and it just makes me want to sit or lay down. It’s nothing like sharp pain, just pressure like I’m wearing a backpack with bricks. Has anybody experienced this?
