As long as its not Booger!

I went crazy with last supper and last Breakfast and last lunch! Some people have to some don't. I was only required to lose 10% of my weight presurgery. I only lost 13 pounds. But that was enough to make a huge difference. The week before I did liquids. It all has to do with the liver. If it is too fatty it will make the operation more difficult (they have to move it out of the way to access your stomach). It also has to do with your comfort after surgery. Do yourself a favor and do a liquid thing till surgery. Its only a few days. Get yourself mentally and physically into it. It will help so very much for your diet requirements after. Also, it keeps you pretty clean inside so you might not get as much gas. Gas can get very painful. I also recommend an enema or laxative the night before. I did the enema thing after a week on liquids and I had no gas problems at all. Just a small lower backache for a few days. I am not a doc and I've only been banded for 4 whole weeks! So I am no expert by any means. I am sure that others did the liquid but still suffered from the gas pain. But it cannot hurt and it will be easier to stick to the liquids while healing. You can do it!!!!

OMIGAWD! I am totally hooked on BB, Survivor and TAR!!! I cannot stand Booger, he is so gross. He thinks he is so very hip. Yep-he's hip alright (yuk) he's riding on Will's back. I hope either Janelle or Will win-they both played the game so different (duh!) But man, they played. Erika is a floater first class. The showmance between her and Booger is grossing me out. I really felt bad how Howie was played by George when he was the only one who was civil to George. And don't even get me started on the horrible remarks the guys make about the girls. I never respect any man who refers to a woman as a whore. I really hate Booger and the now gone Jase for that. I hope their Moms are proud. Anyway...I love those shows (not all the BB shows though, it depends on the cast -my fave was BB3-big fan of Amy). Survivor soon! TAR soon!

If a person is banned they should be banned completely. Their IP address should be banned. There is no point in banning an email address. All they produce are Hydras. Cut off one head and another simply grows back. I have great respect for the mods when they make a difficult decision to ban anyone. I have great disdain for the mods when they cannot control the ban and let hydras grow to continue to spread discord among the entire board. Fair is fair. If you ban a person you ban them. No new email names. If LBT does not have that technical ability then perhaps it should try to get it in order to run a fair and impartial board. For those of you who don't fully understand the IP address thing-it bans the human being from joining under any addition names. The mods are not stupid but they act irresponsibly at times. Stop banning mere email names and start banning people.

Fitter is still with us, as you can obviously see. It does seem rather disingenuous of the moderators to ban two personalities when there seems to be few more of the same human being that keep popping up. Lisa, This is fascinating. Almost like a psychology experiment. I don't believe in all my years on various message boards that I have actually seen someone so self destructive as yourself. You are like a car accident. I don't want to look but I just can't help myself. So...as long as nobody is physically hurt, I'm going to continue to watch you implode. Its better than cable. It's just a bummer I am only in my 4th week so I can't eat popcorn while I watch.

I am not certain what you mean, in all honesty. I am just curious how she is doing with her band. The only think I know is that she was gone a long time and now she is back (and forth LOL!). Since I also understand she was around a long time before I ever arrived I really (honestly no kidding around) am interested in someone who has longevity is doing. She didn't start a controversial thread with this one so I'm respecting that. I don't have much to say about the charity thing and I don't know how much longer she'll be around so I took the opportunity to ask. I ask all the long term banders when I can. Thats it.

Well, just before I was banded I had a colonoscopy. That was quite the colonblow! Since they send that scope wwwaaaayyyy up you gotta be clean, clean, clean. So I will pass on the invitation. But I do give you major props for one of the most interesting thread titles I have ever seen. Possibly only second to my own "I need a pen to write on my boobs" thread. Have fun!

I arranged to have my surgery on Friday v.s. Tuesday so he took my surgery day off. Then he was around for 3 days. By Monday I was ok.
