  1. I live in NW Indiana and I found Dr. Gomez who is in Indianapolis. He charges $250.00 for a fill with fluro. I will be banded in TJ on Nov.11th but, I wanted to have aftercare setup. I went to his office to meet the staff and everyone is very nice and respectul. It is a 2 1/2 hour drive but I could handle that. I hope the info. is helpful. If anyone is interested in DR. Gomez just let me know.

Is he located right off of 31? Could you please give me his contact information?

    Thank you

  2. Hello, I am from Michigan, near Traverse City. I am looking at Dr. Deol, and Dr. Bhesania in Port Huron. I don't know if I have the 12 consecutive months of a supervised weight lose plan Blue Cross/ BS wants so I don't know if my internist will help me get insurance to pay. I am ready to go to Dr. Kuri or Dr. Rumbaut or Dr. Sanchez in Mexico. I am hoping for follow up care with Dr. Deol or Dr. Pleatman for fills but don't know if they will take me if I go to Mexico. Any advice???

I had my surgery in Mexico on 3/26/2006 and Dr. Pleatman is my fill doctor. He did not seem to mind that I had the sugery done in Mexico.

  3. Thank you. I live by South Bend, Indiana but if I have to travel somewhere in the state it is still closer than Mexico.

I did enjoy Mexico when I was there. I left here and it was snowing but it was very nice weather in Mexico.

I appreicate your information and will contact both places.

  4. How long are you suppose to stay off? My doctor did not say one way or the other. My surgery had a delay and I got it around 9:00 PM on Friday. One gentleman that had the surgery done the same time I did was going back to work the day his plane got home. Our doctor was one to say if you feel like it do it if it hurts then don't. Did your doctor give you a time frame?

  5. Yes, I have a pretty good overall feeling as far as the surgery goes. My doctor did not tell me everything I needed to know such as little facts but I have found this site to be very useful.

Another thing to keep in mind is that you are in Mexico. The Bajanor Hospital was not like the hospitals in the states. Your IV pole is just a pole no monitor. No call button for the nurse in your room and things like that. There are five channels on the tv in english. They do care and try to make you comfortable.

I live in Northern Indiana and the plane ride back was long since I just had surgery but other than that it was alright.

    Good luck on Friday.
