  1. If you had GERD before surgery, you should have not been recommended for sleeve. GERD is a disqualifying element for sleeve from my doctor. It sounds like your doctor may have not chosen the best procedure for your needs Eddy Blaine Brown II
  2. Covid test come back negative so I'm good togo Eddy Blaine Brown II
  3. The major issue I see is that the sleeve isn't as effective. If you have a ways to go the sleeve may not get you to your goal. Eddy Blaine Brown II
  4. I was originally scheduled for the end of March. I ended up getting rescheduled for Aug 4th. I could have got it in July, but because of lay offs, I had to wait until August Eddy Blaine Brown II
  5. If Aenta is administrator of med in your state they might have a say, but its doubtful. There just an intermediate paperwork pusher. I'd do your best to not be over the start value. Don't over worry about it or the stress will cause weight gain. Eddy Blaine Brown II
  6. My guess is hunger pains combined with food detox. Many of the foodstuffs we eat are highly addictive. If you've removed these from your diet you may be detoxing. Just a guess. Eddy Blaine Brown II
  7. I was at 39. It went thru pretty easy because I had a history of high A1c, borderline blood pressure, and sleep arena. None of the three were severe, but they still helped get it thru. The one issue I did have was they sit on the request for some time. I had to keep calling the MCM to get them to review my file in a timely manner. Eddy Blaine Brown II
  8. Most areas are wide open right now Eddy Blaine Brown II
  9. My surgeon office called me at the end of June wanting a July surgery date. I couldn't do it until August. Mine is scheduled on the 4th. I think another of it depends on your risk profile and state regulations with Covid. The best is to keep pushing forward Eddy Blaine Brown II
  10. I'm scheduled for 8/4/2020 Eddy Blaine Brown II
  11. I was able to get a previous appointment with my regular doctor picked up as 1 of the 6. The insurance is ticking boxes. There is plenty of help getting the info. As far as ticking the boxes, its by any method that works. Don't worry about the means as much
  12. Congratulations for understanding what means the most to you
  13. Surgery is Tuesday the 4th. I can't wait
  14. I had to do mine Friday. I think its pretty much standard practice
  15. It won't be long now. Im on the 4th
  16. I'm scheduled for August 4. This is a reschedule for me. I was originally scheduled for March 2020, but Covid postponed it. Ready to get it done
  17. I'll be having my surgery on August 4, 2020 as long as the world doesn't come to an end again
  18. I got notified about 1230 today that I was put on hold because this country is loosing it's mind. They told me reschedule would be done as soon as the crazy settled down. [emoji22]
  19. The hospital mine is to be done at cancelled all elective surgery March 23-27
  20. Unfortunately my surgeon wouldn't do it. Right now I'm still on schedule, but I'm fingers crossed
  21. Who all has received notification their surgery has been postponed? So far I'm still scheduled, but I'm on pins and needles
  22. With the way the C-17 or what ever they're calling it is spreading I had a thought. I've got my 2 week pre-op surgery meeting with the surgeon on Monday as well as other tests on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I was thinking about asking him to write me out of work untill surgery so I don't end up with it. I have to travel extensively as well as fly at least once per week. Am I crazy, or would this be a good idea?
  23. I'm March 30. I've got my pre-op appointment on March 16
  24. I'm scheduled for March 30. Work has lost it's mind. I've got one last appointment with surgeon on 16th, which is the day I start pre-op diet. I'm thinking about seeing if he'd write me out during the pre-op phase
