So that's where I am hitting a brick wall. I normally will have yogurt or 2 scrambled eggs in the mornings and I won't eat until I go on lunch at my work and I'll either get a side salad and a ham slider from Arby's. Then when I get home I am super hungry so I eat whatever my husband makes. Recently he has been a fan of hamburger helper or something that has either rice or Pasta with it. I feel like my big issue is that I'm eating too many carbs. You're doing a great job getting your steps in daily. And I understand feeling too tired to do anything after work!! I used to feel that way. 3 months after my RNY I joined a gym and hired a personal trainer! Now I find I have lots more energy. Can you carve out any time on the weekends to exercise? What's your eating like?? Sarah aka Briswife15

The more the merrier. I have not really had alot of support since my surgery. My husband has always been supportive but everyone else just told me that I was taking the easy way out. Thank you!!!!Happy to keep each other accountable if you need help

That would be amazing!!! Thank you so much!!! Sorry it took so long to respond I have been trying to figure out how to work this app lolHi, Christina, and welcome! Sorry you're struggling. You could find an app like Baritastic or my fitness pal to log and track your food. They have nutritional information. I use Baritastic. It is geared towards bariatric patients and reminds me to drink and take my Vitamins. Many people like MFP. I'll be your buddy if you want! Hang in there.

Does your insurance have a nurse or nutritionist you can talk to? We have Cigna. I would speak with one or the other every 2-3 weeks in the beginning. I had A RNY for medical reasons, my BMI was 33 so I had A Thorasic Surgon. He told me to get all my info from the internet.
No unfortunately I was denied at my new job for insurance my my family and I don't have any insurance until next year

Hey everyone, so my name is Christina and I about almost 8years out. I have been having trouble losing ever since my gall bladder that I had to have removed about 6 years ago. I was able to get down to 245 but then found out that I was pregnant with my first son. Now he is 3 years old and I am constantly fluctuating between 250 and 260. I hardly ever work out due to me being the only one in our household that works. I normally get about 6000-7000 steps per 8hour shift and when I get home I am so worn out I head straight to bed. I haven't been able to find real nutrition values and every time I ask the nutritionalist at the doctor's office they always act as if I am a pain and they tell me to follow a book they gave us at the very beginning. I hate to say it but I have moved 6 times within the past 7 years. So I am looking for a buddy or some type of help.

Yeah I can always take a 15 and go eat a snack. I was always told that we could only eat our 3 to 4 meals a day that's why I always wait to eat in the morning. I would normally eat around 11 so I could eat at work and then when I got home! So how many calories should I aim my meals to be or what type of calorie range should we be in? I have been cutting calories ever since I joined this app I was at 2000 but I have been able to cut to 1500 and I wanna say I could cut a little more. To be quite honest you are helping me out so much!!!! Thank you!
