  1. I am seven months post-bypass-surgery and having terrible stomach pains and vomiting at least once a day. Had an ultrasound and they found gallstones. Have an appointment with the surgeon for this Friday and am afraid he's going to say I need another surgery to remove the gallbladder. Can they dissolve the stones? Or am I going to have to suck it up and have to deal with another surgery? This will be the third, as I had emergency surgery 10 days post-op for a blockage and was hospitalized for 10 days with that one. Needless to say, with all the anesthesia my hair has been falling out in fistfuls. I was hoping it was going to get better, but now with the prospect of more anesthesia... well, baldness, here I come....

  2. Hello everyone. I am trying to find out which is better Water or Protein Drink? I asked my surgeon and he told me to eat veggies. I don’t think he understood my question. It’s 7pm and I don’t have 60 grams of Protein or 60 ounces of Water. Which is best to have? Do I concentrate on the Protein or the water? Also if I have reached my daily goals and have time and appetite should I do my clear protein or regular water? I can’t seem to find an answer to this so I thought I would pose it here.
Where do you find clear protein? I agree. You need both. I am 4 months out and can't stomach the Protein Shakes. So I'm lacking in the protein side of things.
