  1. Hello All, In 1998 I had a VGB. I did really well with it, and I went from 302 to 155. Now after suffering for years with Gerd I have developed Gastritis. I have also regained all but 80 pounds. I saw a baratric surgeon last Thursday and I will be able to get it done quicker because I have been through it all before and did rather well with weight loss. I had the Barium swallow test last week and it showed as soon as I swallowed it would come part way up my esophagus. Next week I get the EDG I look forward to meeting with you all and all that I can learn from you. I know the revision will be completely different from the VBG. Lynda
