Thanks! This is one of my new babies. Rocky, the one in the picture is a Pomchi. He is Pomeranian/Chihuahua. He weighs 5 pounds and is now 10 weeks old.

Tyson, our other new baby, is a lab/chow/shepherd mix and is 4 months old and is already 30 pounds. He is growing like a weed and gonna be a big boy.

Yes. The hospital was going to be reimbursed very little from Medicaid so Dr. Gilman is no longer able to accept it.

I think the next closest doctor accepting Medicaid is now at Mercy Hospital in Chicago.

I just got my date today! I am going to be banded on November 11. I am very excited and now a bit nervous. Hang in there. It takes time but once you get there it will be so worth it.

Thanks! I don't have my date yet but they are estimating the week of the 22nd. My doctor needs a proctor with him so they are working on coordinating schedules. There will be three of us done that day. Very exciting!

Went to see the nutritionist today and all went well. I was so excited. I now wait on insurance approval and then move forward. The doc's office said that approval should be pretty quick but we will have to see.
