    Exercise frequency

    Banded 10 weeks ago, down 30 lbs. Have not started exercising and was beginning to worry about being stuck. This has been a wonderful read and kick in the a$$ for me. I will start today with 30-45 minute brisk walks 4-5 times a week. I'm not promising anyone but me. Writing it makes it real for me. As Bob Dylan sang, one more cup of coffee before I go.(early Sunday morning right now) Thank you all for taking the time to tell your stories. It's been VERY motivating.:thumbdown:

    45 minutes a day?, I start tomorrow!, can't tell you how much that advice means. As they say in life, little things mean a lot.

    Wow, 120! How long did it take? I'm still not sure if I'm properly restricted. I can eat over 2 cups of food and bread, but I am making much better choices. The exercise thing has not been going well. I'm working on getting my pool open this weekend, hoping this will help as I love to swim. Any suggestions?
  4. I had a very positive experience with Frye. Checked in at 5am on a Thursday, checked out at 11:30 on Friday, worked half a day on Monday. Question: I've had 2 fills but can still eat 2 cups of food or a little more, should I be filled more?
  5. I live in Hickory, used Dr. Cook and Frye. Everything went great. 2 mos. post op and down about 30. Have had 2 fills, I believe I need a little more. Hope to meet some of you soon. Maybe at a support group. I have not attended yet, but feel I may need to as I seem to be stuck at 260 lbs. I'm on BSBS State Employee's, I paid my $1000.00 out of pocket and everything else has been free, not even cost for the 2 fills. Wait, I did get a bill the other day from a cardiologist for $15.00, I'm guessing to read my EKG, not sure.

    C.College Program Director. As many have stated, not much physical activity, but I love sports. Especially basketball. 2 months post op and down about 30. I had my second fill last Monday, I believe I need more.
