  1. probably acid reflux take nexium or if you can afford it do what i did have adjustable bed so my chest is always in a down position when i sleep so any reflux cant come up
  2. i only used sugar free pops to keep hydrated after surgery now i don't use them anymore..
  3. if you eat right after surgery even without exercise the weight will come off you fast.. the more weight you way at time of surgery the more weight you will lose..
  4. i been taking them for years now..everyday,,,
  5. take nexium everyday and you will be fine from acid reflex
  6. not even a few hours home after surgery i had shortness of breath and had to stay in the hospital for a few days .. i had developed aspiration pneumonia from the surgery..

  8. i never had any issues drinking..and keeping fluids down so i am lucky...
  9. according to my research the bypass has far more issues then the sleeve like perforations due to ulcers dumping syndrome ..also the bypass has more risk of vitamin deficiency then with the sleeve.
  10. i stopped taking protein shakes about a week ago due to the constant diarrhea i basically eat about 500 calories a day lol no wonder i am losing so much weight...
  11. well your 158 according to your chart you should be happy at your weight even if you don't lose anymore you use to be 230 before...
  12. i'm glad i had the sleeve the bypass has to many issues that can develop compared to the sleeve..

  14. as is aid on another thread i was weighed yesterday lost 53 pounds in a few days short of 2 months and no exercise due to some issues i had before surgery now that i feel much better.. i am going to do some walking hope to do a mile a day..
  15. well i turned 50 3 days before my surgery and i am a young 50.. and i have lost 54 pounds in less than 2 months.. day of surgery weight i was 347 now down to 294...
  16. well obviously the more overweight you are the more weight you will lose at first..so a 350 pound person will lose more weight then a 250 pound person..doing the exact same diet..

  18. no more protein shakes for me i don;t want to spend a hour in bathroom from the effects...
  19. since surgery june 11 2019 i have lost 53.5 pounds amazing...
  20. almost 2 months out and i dont' really feel hungry.. i probably eat 600 calories a day and i am good with that... the weight keeps coming off..
  21. i took some only a few tylenol pills 2 weeks after surgery when my narcotic pain killers ran out..but only 2 did not need them anymore...
  22. i started my insurance process in september 2018 and did not have the surgery until june of this year..
  23. i used them a lot following surgery so i could keep hydrated ...now almost 2 months out don't use them at all...
  24. i have lost considerable weight since my surgery.. i use to have really bad back pain knee pain swelling in my legs.. and since the surgery my back pain has improved and the swelling in my legs has gone..
  25. i got a year supply from bariatric pal i think for 100 bucks
