  1. Take a vitamin E capsule and open it and rub in the oil to incisions as they begin to heal do it everyday.
  2. Few jokes lol! Enjoy!
  3. I don't have exact date but talked to the Surgeon's office today. She said the are booked up until August. I have finished my requirements for my insurance, so it's a waiting game. I figure it will be late August.
  4. I am wondering if doctor will tell them what I am having surgery on or speak to ones on my list while the ones, I don't want to know are present or have visitors come, the nurse or doctor may talk to me in front of them. Good luck keeping your secret.
  5. My heart is breaking for you. I pray they find answers and you get soon. I have no advice for you. I haven't had my surgery yet. Don't worry about the weight right now. Keep on to them all till you get answers. Bless you!
  6. Wait to you lose your weight he is going be so sorry he left but girl keep going forward. I do think it is a good ideal to do things he never wanted to and enjoy yourself. Food I wonder if you can have a grape. They say freeze them then it's like a popsicle, just don't swoll it just suck. Maybe the sugar of the grape be enough like wine and natural sugar freezes on the outside of grape, ease you right now.
  7. It's good that someone understands.
  8. I actually see a therapist but the physiracterist that test me for my insurance approval said he wanted me to come see him every 3mths after the surgery and maybe then I might get it together. The have medicine and finally have that regulated. I think it just seating here why life passes me by.
  9. I haven't heard anyone doing that but a lot of weight loss causes you to have issues later. So I guess there was since you having another surgery in the next 6mths.
  10. You would think they would encourage it, knowing it is money in the doctors hand. I would had to say. I may not be as other pat9 you might see but my health is at stake and I am excited that I lost 10 and if I could lose weight on my own I would have already accomplished that. I think if the Surgeon knew she would be fired.
  11. I am at the end of my required insurance requirements. But I should be excited, but before I started this process I was already depressed. From babysitting my grandchildren, day and night not a moment for me. While I have the time this week but I am doing nothing. I should because I don't have the little one I do have the 9yr old (she mostly takes care of herself) my daughter is on vacation. I am staying up all night sleeping all day. My house work is not being completed. Have a son who just overdosed, scared the crap out of me and his drug use is driving me crazy. Plus my marriage has been hard but it's our 37 anniversary this Wednesday. For some reason we really don't talk. He sits in other room, watching TV and on his fb and I sit in the living room on phone. He fusses because I am on the phone all the time but it's my only connection to the outside word. I do postive things online as well, I read my Bible, do research and do other productive things. I just need to do something for me. I have put everyone first to long and need to do something for myself, instead of seating on this couch and die. For some reason I don't want to go get in bed with him, I just fall asleep on my couch. I know I could do better for him but I am just worn out. I know he works hard for us but of but I am just so depressed. My health mentally and physically needs this surgery. I know the surgery itself, you go through depression but I know eventually on this journey, I will feel more postive. Then I will rise up and take care of them and find myself in this process. I wanted to share with all of you. Hoping this a place where I might not be judged. Thanks for letting me cry on your shoulder, per say. Thanks Again.
  12. Great job. You were beautiful before and you are stunning now. You'll be at goal before you know it.
  13. I am 37 BMI with comorbites
  14. JessLess that is good to know
  15. Thanks Dear
  16. Your going to see your surgeon from often to check on your progress so you don't want to always be waiting but then your surgeon maybe the best. Check reviews if you can check how well they liked different surgeons. Let us know how it turns out.
  17. My provider for mental health looked up liquid forms of the meds I take for post-op.
  18. If I lose weight before the pre-surgery liquid diet, will that be an issue and what if I lose below my bmi?
  19. I found this on ole faithfull Google. It is about drinking hot water, warm or cold.Drinking hot water helps to break down food faster thandrinking cold or warm water. It reduces the risk of constipation by supporting regular bowel movements. The warm water helps detox and cold water helps you body durning hot weather to get your body to the right temperature. I heard water in general will help start your metabolism. I think I may need to use the hot water, if it will help post-op constipation. I don't like nothing but cold unless the water is from a coffee pot. Coffee does count for water doesn't it? Lol! Thought I would share.
  20. I would to know that one. I only had to a Nutrition class. I have Medicare AARP. They have said nothing about a liquid diet before. They did start exercise and drinking water and changing our diet. They also their will be a 1wk clear liquid post-op then 1wk liquid and 2wk pureed. So I guess I will find out when I see the surgeon.
