I may have to push my surgery to February. Starting a new job and the surgery is to close tothe date I have in October to take off. Then the holidays. Plus said January would be hard to get any time off. So I am going to call tommorow, see what February looks like. That's so long away. Maybe I can try a diet once more. Don't know what to do. I already had to change from August to October now all the way till February. I will have a secondary insurance from my work by then. Diet or patiently await till February?
  4. I thank you for your advice. This job is at the hospital that I am going to have the surgery at. So maybe they will work with me.
  5. My surgery is scheduled for October 8. Now have to cancel. I got a job and start on September 30th. I wonder since I am just starting, if I could still take 2 weeks off for surgery and recovery in a few months. I should have waited. What to do? I guess I will ask HR before I even start.
  6. I have change the date again because starting a job on 30th. So hopefully it will be done at least by January. Let me know how your surgery goes.
  7. I just bought different protein for whenever. My husband is going to the store he is buying some Carnation breakfast. I ordered Ujury my hospital recommended. I guess need soups and ?
  8. I was talking liquid portion after surgery. I don't have to do a pre diet either. hope I haven't gained. Thanks for list. Someone said take gasx. 37days.
  9. Thanks that's a lot of protein.
  10. My surgery is not till October but I need to get thing's together. I need a list for the hospital stay to recovery and to drink on the 2 week liquid diet. I bought Ispure, some broths and Lady Boss protein shake and a variety of protein shakes from Bastric Pal. Help!
  11. They told me the same. It made me to go into super drive of overeating and now I have gained. So they want you keep it off but not losing weight is, that is hard to find the balance.
  12. Yes you do. I was almost crippled and I want go back to work no on disability. .
  13. I will have to try. I have two kinds in the cabinet haven't tried yet.
  14. You sound like me. No cyst though. My Dad has them operated on, their no joke. Prayers for your surgery
  15. I was in so much pain I couldn't stand but he gave me cortisone shots in both knees. NSAIDS that are the lowest as far as hurting the lining of your stomach. I guess if I am still hurting after I have surgery I will then have to have knees operated on. If insurance approved going do some more weekly silicone shots.
  16. I had that surgery in January
  17. I hope that's my case, my surgeon told me not to take any more arthritis meds. I haven't since May. If afterwards still in pain are we allowed to take any meds?
  18. Those who have arthrites, do you take any meds after surgery?
  19. Thanks for recommendations. I also am going have issues in the bubbly of the carbonation. One step at a time.
  20. I change mine to Oct 8. My other Doctor recommended it. So you can tell me how it goes, so I will be prepared for my sleeve.
  21. The headaches are so bad but hope I will be able to stay off my diet cokes. I've drank them for 16yrs. Alot of food addiction trying to break before October.
  22. I have bad sleep issues maybe getting of caffeine will help.
  23. I will eventually need to stop decaffeinated and drink just water I guess. What did your nutritionists say about not drinking decaffeinated either or is it ok.

I am not having fun coming of caffeine before surgery. Probably after the headaches go away I will be fine. Then the artificial sweeteners will be next. I have 2 months so I am sure I can do this. I am not required to do a liquid diet b4 hand. I might do it anyway just to prepare my liver to shrink down. I hope I have not gained since last visit. How did you do in breaking your caffeine addiction?
  25. My surgery date changed, does anyone have an October date.
