  1. I am just getting ready to have my 4th fill (of which every time I have had to go back to my doctor and get the saline taken out or mostly removed because of swelling or my purging). I know that this is probably my fault because I think I may have eaten too soon or ate the wrong things. What do you eat after a fill? I know you are supposed to have liquids, but for how long and is there anything you can eat besides liquids that won't get stuck?

  2. Hi, I have a question. I got a fill on Friday and ate a piece of chicken on Saturday evening. Didn't eat too much, but right away got sick and started throwing up most of the night with a stomach ache. I know I had to have irritated my stomach, but my question is what do I do that would help with the irritation? Now, anytime I want to eat or drink I tend to get sick.

  3. I had my second fill last week and was doing good. I swallowed a Vitamin yesterday that was a capsule. I don't know if it got stuck or what, but I threw up after taking it and spent the night last night awake throwing up. Whenever I laid down I would get nauseous. I couldn't eat anything. My chest was very sore, along with my stomach. This morning I am better (enough to be able to eat a couple bites of sliced cheese. I am still pretty sore and don't want to push drinking or eating more. Has anyone felt like this? I don't want to have to go back to my doctor right now as it is so expensive. He is 6 hours away.

  4. Thanks Indio Girl. Sorry I haven't got back to you. I went back to the doctor and they inserted 1.9 ccs more. I do feel like I have restriction now and I love it. The doctor also told me that it could take several fills for some people before they feel any restriction. My meals are so much smaller now and I do feel much better. I still haven't exercised in the traditional way, other than walking, because we have so much to do when I get home. Can't just lay around unless the fibromylgia is hurting so bad I can't move. But have started becomming more involved in riding my horse, cleaning stalls, etc. So thanks for all your helpful information. I really depend on the support to help me get through this as my doctor is so far away.

  5. I had 3 ccs put in on my first fill. My stomach is growling and twisting in knots as if I hadn't had anything to eat. I get my Water in, that is no problem. I haven't been taking any Protein Shakes as I really got burned out on them prior to my first fill, but I think I am getting enough Protein in. I am going back to the doctor (he is about 300 miles away so it gets expensive) on Friday and he is going to insert more in me. They told me that for some people it takes a couple of fills. I just want to start losing!!
