  1. I can tell you this man is amazing,he is a little arrogant at times but trust him he is a brilliant surgeon, recently I had my appendix burst and was infected,my system had shut down and I was in real trouble.Long story short he saved my life .I would trust him for any surgery I ever need

  2. I have done well I think, even though far from the biggest loser I am happy with my progress.I have lost 90 pds in a year and in hopes of losing another 40 my second year.I feel I am at my perfect restriction level thanks to Dr.Wizeman and Diane his nurse who is the one who will do your nutrition and be your first contact if you have problems. The monthly support meetings are great and informative.I feel very blessed to have been able to make this journey. If I never lose another pound I am happy with how far I have come.

I hope your journey will be just as rewarding and remember not to fret over the short set backs you may experience at times, just keep the goal in your sites and move on.I have had ups and downs, gains and loses and it is all just a part of the journey.I wish you luck and the strength of mind and body to make this journey. You can do it, never lose site of the prize.

  3. I will do even better, here is his website Treating severe morbid obesity through gastric bypass surgery Paul Wizman, MD, P.A. as to brand I am not sure but he uses Lap Band brand .Fees I pay $175.00 for a fill and $75.00 for an office visit he did insist I do my first fill under that x-ray thing. But now I have heard he does charge a program fee for new patients but I am not sure as I did not pay one just $235.00 for my first fill.Tell him Delores Powell referred you maybe that will help.Let me know how it goes.He also takes patients out of the county for banding so ask him about self pay I think it is $12,000 but not sure.

Best of luck stay in touch

  4. Glad you got a good fill, hang in there and take it slow and don't worry everything is gonna be fine.If you need to chat just halla

  5. Hello Tashcat,I was banded May 7,2008 and yes my doc had a problem

hitting it the first fill because he said it was tilted, but that wasnt his biggest issue with it,he said I had the big VG Band and a small low profile port but he said the good news is if I lose all my weight I want have to deal with my port sticking out.I do all my fills now under flouro the second fill was a breeze as now have lost 40lbs so he has an easier time finding it.I use a doctor here for my fills and he is taking good care of me.I wish the best with your x-ray but if it is tilted dont panic plenty of us have a tilted port and they fill it just fine.Worse case she will have to replace it.Stay in touch
